Stayed Oct 10, 2023Beautiful house on lake with fireplace and a private deck. There were 7 adults in our group and we all loved it. The house is even nicer than the pictures show. Would love to stay again. If you need a place close to this area, no need to hesitate - you won’t be disappointed!

Stayed Nov 19, 2022The house and location was absolutely perfect for us. We had a family gathering and celebrated Thanksgiving together. We were able to hike in Acadia National Park multiple days and enjoy the sunrise and sunset from the Sawyer's beautiful house.

Stayed May 21, 2022Owner: very responsive Environment: very quiet and serene View: grand lake view Property: excellent-quality and new Cleanness: exceptionally clean Kitchen: fully-equipped; appliances are very new and good Dining and living area: very cozy, comfortable, and nice. The lighting, temperature control, window treatment: perfect We found everything we need in the house. We also found many interesting things we did not expect - just like a treasure island. A good memory indeed.

Stayed May 14, 2022Everything about the house and location was wonderful. I loved that it was surrounded by trees so from the house you do not really see the neighboring homes. It was well kept and spacious for the 5 of us and our 2 dogs. We loved the artwork and family history that adorned the walls of the home. We enjoyed the lake, fishing and kayaking, right from the back yard. Added bonus was the back yard was fenced. I highly recommend the Sawyer house to anyone looking to stay in this area. We enjoyed the close proximity to Bangor, Bar Harbor and Acadia.

Stayed May 4, 2022This house was amazing! Tom was very helpful before and during our stay. The house was the perfect place to celebrate graduation with family and friends. Plenty of room indoor and out. It was so peaceful sitting on the deck listening to the water. We didn’t want to leave!
