Point Place, Cozy Cabin a Short Walk from the Beach

This property is an amazing true Alaskan experience. The location is as good as it can get. Knowing that we were renting an older home kept our expectations realistic. The modern amenities of wi-fi, TV, and the plug in fans & heaters provided kept the atmosphere very comfortable. The hosts were great to work with being both attentive and responsive. The visits from the friendly neighbor hood dogs were a bonus treat for our kidsz

We enjoyed our stay. The host was very informative prior to the trip sharing knowledge of actives to do in seward. She was very responsive to all communications. House was well stocked with everything you would need for a relaxing vacation.

We really enjoyed our 6-night stay and were super happy with Point Place. It was the perfect location for us being close to hiking trails, the beach, and being within 2 miles of downtown. Very welcoming family-friendly neighborhood that felt safe and authentic. Excellent hot showers, well-maintained yard, and well-stocked with household essentials. The host was excellent and super friendly with offering recommendations. Our bucket-list trip to Alaska included 2 halibut/rock fishing days, and a day on the River for sockeye. Appreciated our cozy place after such big adventures! Definitely recommend!

Nice place, would recommend to others

The inside was clean and well cared for however the neighborhood was not well kept. No washer & dryer access as this is behind a locked door and no dishwasher. The downstairs heater was quite noisy. The location was quiet and had easy access to the beach and a walking trail.

We had a nice stay overnight. The cabin is nicely updated and had warm heaters in both bedrooms keeping it as cozy as you wanted it. The short walk to the inlet bay to see the sunrise was amazing! Highly recommend getting up early to view it. Thanks for the complimentary coffee/hot cocoa and tea in the cupboard!

Property has everything you’d need! Loved having luggage racks in each bedroom. I know it’s a little thing but most VRBO’s don’t have dressers which is totally understandable but then luggage goes on floors. Very walkable to beach, Millers Landing cafe and hiking trails.

Our family of 6 was very comfortable here. It is a great layout. We loved being tucked away in the woods. We had a very rainy day when we were there and it was a perfect location to spend the day.

We loved the cozy cabin feel - great space with everything you need - kitchen has plenty of items to prepare meals. Close to town but tucked away in a quiet area.

Seward is a great town and the cottage matched the character and style of the place. Plenty of comfortable space for 4 adults and within walking distance to the water and Miller’s Landing. Would recommend to all!
