Stayed Oct 24, 2025The house is on a fantastic piece of property with lake views on three sides. The backyard is a great property. We enjoyed the fire pit and the kayaks. However, a few things that really diminished our weekend: 1) the house smelled like sewage. We reached out to the owner who told us to take the sewer cap off, which dissipated the smell. The owner gave us 100 per night back, 2) the WiFi didn't work. We reset it a few times but to no avail. When reaching out to the owner, she said she doesn't have any local support and asked me what she should do about it. 3) If the WiFi were working, the outdoor TV wasn't plugged in. The only way to plug it back in would be to take it off the mount. 4) Departure Instructions: beyond the standard strip beds, run dishwasher, take out the trash, they expect you wash linens, get them in the dryer and then start the towels. Who's staying around an extra 30-40 minutes to do the laundry before getting on the road? 5) to start the outdoor fireplace, we had to contact the owner who sent a video to us. Could have shared this with instructions at the house. 6) The second bedroom with the queen bed is up against the wall. 7) no wine glasses... It's a vacation rental. Who doesn't have wine glasses???

Stayed Oct 4, 2025Absolutely beautiful property that is easily accessible and on deep water for year-round access to boating. The beds and furniture were very comfortable and everything was very clean. The kitchen was very well stocked. We had a few small items come up during our stay but Chelsea always responded right away. We would definitely stay here again.

Stayed Jun 17, 2024Location was perfect, few miles from downtown Blairsville, grocery stores, gas, restaurants, within minutes. Lake was perfect, we stayed in June, water temp was about 80F, kids jumped right in. Water was clean and calm enough to paddle board on. We brought our own paddle boards and life jackets since the property doesn't have life jackets for use. Rented a boat at the marina about a mile away, great prices, friendly staff, showed us the lake, where to go, fun places to check out like the rope swing. Had a little trouble tying the boat to the dock because the ropes were too short. The dock didn't have any rope ties on the outside perimeter. Luckily I had some longer straps with me. Firepit was great, used it every night, but had to bring our own firewood and fire starters and things. Chairs had a lot of bugs and spider webs, which is expected in the summer time. I brought swiffers to help clean it all off each day. Upstairs bathroom doors were difficult to open and close, very tight fit in the door jams. Downstairs bathroom has a weird inside hook lock for the 4 bunk bed room access instead of a door knob. Checkout process was a bit of a surprise. Asked for full load of towels laundry finished and in the dryer, with all beds stripped and in the washing machine and started. Getting all this accomplished with a 10am checkout time is a little unrealistic, especially with a large group, wouldn't all fit in the machine at once.

Stayed Jul 19, 2023My family, my sister-in-law’s family, and my in-laws spent a few days here and it was lovely. The house has plenty of parking for four cars, the table/bar in the kitchen accommodated all of us, and the back porch is absolutely amazing. If we weren’t at the dock or in the water, we were sitting as a family on the back porch talking and enjoying the scenery. We cooked three big meals a day, and the only tip that I can offer is to bring any and all spices, oils, foil, k-cups, etc., that you’ll need since none are available (check out instructions specifically say to take everything with you). The kitchen is well equipped with all pots, pans, utensils, etc. which was great. Easy walk down to the dock and the metal ladder was super helpful when entering and exiting the water… now if only the king size bed would have had a ladder also, my inlaws would have been able to stay in the master bedroom, haha, it was way too tall ? The basement could stand a dehumidifier, but a small fan to circulate the air in the small sleeping room really helped. Our family of ten would love to return next summer and maybe add a day or two to our visit. ❤️

Stayed Jun 22, 202311/10 property and experience!! The house provided everything that the 10 of us needed to have a great 3 days/nights at the lake. The property is on a point on the south (quieter) side of Lake Nottely. The house is well maintained, and the outdoor area has everything you could ask for. I was happy to see that bouys were present to provide a safe swimming area around the dock so the few boats that did pass were plenty far away. The dock is brand new, and is a synthetic board (no splinters). The swim ladder has an extended bottom step to make entering/exiting the lake a non-issue. Chelsea was a great host, answering any questions that I had promptly during our stay. We would love to return next year!

Stayed Jun 10, 2023As soon as you open the door to this beautiful house and see out to the lake, you start to relax. The house and the outdoors are beautiful and calming. While the weather was cooler and wetter than we had expected, there was still plenty to do. There are many places inside and out where you can curl up and read a book, gather in small groups and visit, or you can sit around the very large dining table and play games on one end while others work puzzles on the other end. On sunny days, we rented a pontoon boat at the nearby marina. Chelsea is a great hostess with prompt replies to any questions you might have. A great place to stay with family and friends!

Stayed Mar 11, 2023We were a family of 9 that spent a week in this wonderful lake front home. From the moment we walked in the front door till we left we were in awe that we were staying in such a lovely place. The owners had been working hard to update the home and it showed. The back porch is a dream! It was very cold the week we were there so we didn’t get to enjoy it as much as we hoped but we still enjoyed our time inside being together. We were able to fish from the 2 docks and a couple days our grandkids went swimming in the lake even though the water temp was very cold. There is a gas fireplace in the living room as well as on the back porch. That was a nice touch when we would be outside and want to warm up a bit. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed. Nice size pantry, refrigerator and counter space. One night it was nice and warm enough for us to use the fire pit. We had s’mores and listened to the sounds across the lake. It was so very peaceful. Chelsea was wonderful with communication from the time we rented. The first morning we were there there was no water pressure in the downstairs shower. I contacted her and in a few hours she and her husband showed up and in no time the shower was working perfectly. Any questions she would respond within minutes. I really appreciated that. Our entire family would like to rent this home again during the summer so we really can take advantage of being on the lake.
