The Retreat was perfect for our family! Quiet and cozy. We very much appreciated all the details put into the comfort and cuteness of the house. It was hard to get out of the lush beds. This was a lovely little cottage very close to the river and you can walk down to the river from the cottage. The host, Linda, was very kind and gracious and had lots of “extras” like popcorn and granola bars and water for guests and she has a wonderful flair for decorating. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will be back!

Loved this place so much! So inviting and peaceful! My kids absolutely enjoyed it, they enjoyed the nearby creek which kept them pretty busy! Neighbor was very friendly also and let us use his property to access the creek! The aesthetic of the house felt so nostalgic yet so modern. Definitely would return!

Happy to see that the kitchen supplied every sort of coffee preparation you might want, especially since we forgot to pack a French press. Coasters would be nice. Otherwise, we’ll supplied though small kitchen.

We had a wonderful time. We caught some fish at the river, my daughter loved the lights in the enclosed porch and it had everything we needed!

This was the perfect property for our family. It was my husband’s first Ironman 70.3 and the home allowed him a great place to prep and recover from his successful race. My family and I needed a relaxing getaway! The house was perfect. We had plenty of space and enjoyed the river and fire pit. We grilled both nights and enjoyed the deck. The living room was very cozy. The sun room was fun and comfortable. We all slept well! We enjoyed watching the rain through the windows on our last day; it was very relaxing. We hope to return soon! We stayed here for our summer family vacation and it was beyond fantastic. The Retreat was amazing we made so many memories and had such a wonderful time,playing games,fishing ,floating in the river,laughing and just relaxing.
