Perfect for two! Less than half mile from Yellowstone. 'Downtown' location.

We love Lilac Cottage!! Very comfortable, quiet, and clean! Hosts have made this darling cottage available with everything you could possibly need and more!! We will stay here again!!

Friendly and welcoming hosts, comfortable cottage, fantastically well-equipped kitchen and in an area with lots to see and do: a great location for visiting Yellowstone.

Unfortunately, due to the flooding in this area, we were not able to stay at Yellowstone. We are hopeful that we will be able to go another time.

Eleanor and Tom are top notch in providing all the amenities and thinking of the traveler, particularly in this COVID time. The bungalow is on property with Tom and Eleanor living next door. The amenities in the small house were well thought out and everything was clean and in perfect working condition. The cleanliness was superb, and reflected sensitivity to the COVID times. We chose to eat in the bungalow, and found the kitchen area to be perfectly outfitted for this and even light cooking. Eleanor went out of her way to communicate ahead of time regarding directions to the bungalow, and tips on the restaurants, and touring in Yellowstone. We also had our own designated parking adjacent to the bungalow and off the busy street. The yard and landscaping was well cared for and beautiful setting. The location was quiet, and just what we were looking for. We would return again in future.

A cute private cottage surrounded by flowers! A great location, close to the north entrance of Yellowstone and in walking distance of shops and restaurants. Eleanor and Tom are friendly and helpful and the cottage is well set up and perfect for any couple.

Very out of date. TIny bathroom with water heater in it. Service fees, taxes, property fees ridiculously high. Entry through back yard of owners home and yard is messy. Would not stay there or recommend to others. Owner was pleasant.

Owner was very helpful with any questions I had prior to arriving and the room/cottage was very well kept & clean. Eleanor went above and beyond to make our stay a great experience and personable.

Perfect cozy cottage for our trip to Yellowstone! Walking distance to grocery store, restaurants and shops. Located less than a mile from Yellowstone. As for the cottage, it was clean, comfortable and well stocked with all you could need. Eleanor was available to give us suggestions and information when we asked. If we ever return to the area we will return to the Lilac Cottage!

The concerns and hospitality of the host was amazing. They made sure we knew all the ins and outs of visiting their area in non-opportune times. They even texted us during our stay to make sure we were aware of changing wheather conditions. On top of all that the lodging was so comfy and cozy and they provided items to make the stay even better. I will be a return guest. Not sure you can say anthying better than that.

Great location to access the North entrance to Yellowstone NP. The hosts have thought of everything to make a comfortable and enjoyable stay. The location was peaceful and the cottage's kitchen was well-equipped to prepare meals. We hope to stay again sometime.

This was the perfect size place to stay for the two of us. The cottage is so beautifully decorated and comfortable. We found ourselves ending the nights on the recliner chairs catching up after a long day in Yellowstone hiking. All of the restaurants and downtown shops are just across the bridge from the home and we walked to dinner both nights. The bed is on the separate side of the cottage from the kitchen and table which made it great for me to get up early and be in a separate area with my laptop and coffee while my girlfriend could sleep in a little longer. We only stayed two nights, but would definitely stay here longer if we make it back out. I was not able to find a corkscrew anywhere in the kitchen, so either I did not look well enough or they did not have one. I carry my own small cheap version with me (we love to relax with some wine at the end of the day). The ice-cream in the freezer was a really nice treat.

We had everything that we needed for our stay. Quiet and comfortable. Perfect for our time at Yellowstone.

This was truly the most generous hospitality I’ve ever experienced. Everything was prepared with care and thoughtfulness. The place itself is cute, cozy, and welcoming - shining clean and maintained at the highest standard.The kitchen and pantry were exceptionally well equipped, which allowed us to cook our own meals with ease. We especially appreciated being able to use the property’s grill.It was clear that the Stones went above and beyond to think of everything a guest might need.The location is also excellent - just a short drive to the northern entrance of Yellowstone, which made exploring the park very easy. Having a grocery store nearby was extremely convenient.Beyond the amenities and location, what really stood out was the warmth and generosity of the hospitality. We felt cared for and comfortable throughout our stay. It felt like being welcomed into a home.We would absolutely recommend this property wholeheartedly to anyone looking for a relaxing, spotless, and thoughtfully prepared getaway.

This little place was awesome! So close to the park, walkable town, and an amazing host. The host thought of everything. Lighting in the cottage was perfect and thoughtful, there were 2 new recliners that were amazing after hiking all day, the bed was comfortable, and even the towels were top notch. Also the kitchen had everything we needed to cook several meals. The yard was immaculate and charming. We loved our stay here!

The Lilac Cottage was adorable and just perfect for us! It was very well furnished and had many little extras. The location was great for visiting Yellowstone everyday that we were there.

The cottage was better than advertised! The hosts were very accommodating. The kitchen had everything you needed and included a few treats for us. Our only regret is that our stay was not longer.

We loved the location, it was easy check in and check out process. My husband has mobility issues but was still able to move around fine in the small space. Would highly recommend!

Everything two people could need. Yes, it’s a small cottage, but it doesn’t lack for anything and has a nice sitting area just outside. Conveniently located with a grocery store just down the street and the North entrance to the park a few minutes away. We plan to return next May. Eleanor and Tom are wonderful hosts.

We enjoyed our time in Gardiner. Host was very communicative. The unit is very well equipped with kitchen supplies, games, and park information. Easy commute into the park.

We enjoyed our stay at the Lilac Cottage. It was perfect for the two of us. Everything we needed for a great stay was provided by the hosts. The courtyard garden was beautiful but we did not get to enjoy it as our weather was cold and rainy. This is a great location while visiting Yellowstone.

My wife and I stayed here during our visit to Yellowstone National Park. If you are looking for a small place for a couple, then this is the place for you. The hosts were great.

Our second time at this lovely home, and enjoyed it just as much as the first time. The location is ideal to YNP, and the tourist stops if you want. We cooked our breakfasts and dinners at the cottage, the kitchen having everything you need. The owners are marvelous, and close but it is still very private. Sitting in the yard is ideal after a long day.

Ideally located just a few minutes from the North Entrance of Yellowstone Park, the Lilac Cottage offered all amenities and more. Very attention to detail and extremely comfortable for even a longer stay. The cottage was in top notch condition and very well looked after. The backyard was a serene place in the afternoon to relax with a book and glass of your favorite drink. Perfection!

This cute and comfortable cottage was the perfect base camp for our visit to Yellowstone. The property was nicely equipped with all the essentials for our stay. The next visit to the park may be in early fall to avoid the summer crowds; I'm hoping we can land this property again when we return!
