Stayed May 8, 2024We were visiting from Canada and thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this rustic, authentic accommodation. Thank goodness for accurate GPS to get to the property and through the twists and turns of the VERY narrow roads in town & up the hillside! Ample parking outside the cottage. We all slept soundly and the beds were comfortable and the house was charming. We did find a shortage of basic kitchen utensils (corkscrew, measuring cups/spoons, wine glasses, spatula etc) but managed ok (bought our own corkscrew in town). Quiet and with beautiful views and well within short driving distance to many attractions in the region. The host was excellent to communicate with and promptly answered any questions. Note: There is no wifi available and if mobility/stairs are a concern, the bathroom is on the lower level & the bedrooms are upstairs. If you’re looking for a cozy, authentic place to stay, I recommend this place.
