Pelyn is a stunning modern apartment that overlooks the beautiful Percuil River, you could easily while away the hours gazing out at the clusters of moorings, the ebb and flow of the tide, the way the reflections of the sunlight change during the day, and how the boatyard itself function from launching RIBs and dinghies to repairing larger yachts. If you have a boat or RIB of your own the yard would be happy to help sort out launching etc. The accommodation is spacious with a galley style kitchen to the rear of the open plan living and dining room, a double bedroom and a shower room,

St Mawes is one of the most exclusive traditional villages in the Country, with a wealth of activities within close reach. Historic Castles from the era of Henry VIII, glistening blue waters, bustling beaches, Cornish Pubs, award-winning restaurants, amazing coastal walks, ferries to different locations, little motor boats, kayaks, and stand-up paddle boards, all available for rental. (During the season) The Roseland peninsula has a huge variety of places to explore, there are many beaches, some with golden sands, some with shingle, all with a splattering of rock pools, there are secluded coves, towering cliffs, and the famous lighthouse at St Anthony. (Fraggle Rock for everyone of a certain age!) The artists' haven of Portscatho is well worth a visit, as is Veryan. with its famous round houses.

Good one bedroom flat to stay in, great location in a working boatyard. Would recommend it to stay at.

Pelyn is a lovely little apartment- big enough for two, spotlessly clean, with an excellent kitchen. It's such a great spot to access St Mawes by foot and the view over the boatyard is really pretty. Early morning staring out over the water was a favourite pastime!

Pelyn is an ideal place for a stay in St Mawes. It offers compact but well thought out accommodation for 2 people. Although the bedroom is small, the view from the window is worth it. The lounge area also has patio doors opening on to a small balcony and has the same outlook. . The apartment has all the necessary facilities and the allocated parking is a real bonus. It is located a ten minute walk from the centre of St Mawes which does involve some hills but is a pleasant walk, mostly off road.

Very convenient for walking in to St Mawes and the local footpaths. We enjoyed our stay and would try and book again but have noticed that the price has increased for 2025.

Everything was as we expected and we had a very enjoyable stay exploring the Roseland, Truro and Falmouth.
