Description

Come and stay south of the city in a semi-rural area with a large fenced yard. Only 18 minutes into downtown Greenville where you'll find loads of good restaurants, good music, and shopping. This fully-equipped cottage is named for the lady who built the house with her husband in the 1940's, and my mother-in-law's neighbor & friend for many, many years. We added the deck on the back to enjoy the outdoors - there's a firepit and a gas grill for your use also. Two bedrooms, each with queen beds and one bathroom that has a tub/shower and a heated towel warmer. There's a dedicated office area off of the eat-in kitchen, a laundry closet and plenty of counter space. Lots of mature trees on the property, and a there's a pond right across the road where you can see the occasional heron or ducks & geese. You will love the quietness of the country while being close to all that the city of Greenville has to offer.

We were in the area for a wedding. Cheryl communicated politely and frequently about the stay and was so helpful! We found it to be spacious, comfortable, private, and had just what we needed. The house is a perfect place to stay for attending concerts at the nearby Bon Secours arena (the old Bi-lo Center). There's evan a local Brewery just a couple minutes away. Very private and quiet with a fire pit, gas grill, etc. The owners are very responsive and helpful.
