Peaceful Cottage - Steps to Matunuck Beach

A cozy little cottage with a quick little walk to the beach.Some restaurants just down the street and a small grocery within a mile.

The first day we went over to Block Island. We hadn't been since we were kids. We ate dinner at the Ocean Mist, excellent and within walking distance from the house.The second day we went to the Lizzy Borden House and to dinner with North Kingstown relatives at The Crows Nest. We also stopped in to see Taylor Swift's house before dinner. On our way home we stopped in our old neighborhood and did a memory drive. Thank you for a very fun 3 days!!!

The property was cute and clean. It was a perfect week with many options of activities to do. We went kayaking, biking, and of course laid on the beach. It was a perfect stay.

The cottage was even better than expected. Extremely friendly environment including contact agent, housekeeping, and owners. The privacy component -including backyard and ocean shore was what we were looking for and exactly what we experienced.July 5 - 12 were the dates we stayed. Enjoyed our time. Looking forward to the next stay.

Nice cottage, beautifully decorated. No central air available, but there’s a fan in the closet. Nice access to the beach.

Our 1st time in RI and we will be back. This little cottage was the perfect spot. A beautiful and convenient area. We explored URI and Newport. I was happy I got to meet the owners. They made us feel welcomed. Thank for sharing your place with us.

My wife booked us for my birthday weekend and we had a blast. I hadn't realized how close we were to the beach - leave your bedroom windows open and you can hear the waves crashing in!!! The beach is just steps away so we grabbed a blanket and breakfast and sat watching the surfers out riding the waves. About the best way to start your day or see the stars out at night. We brought our bikes and the few restaurants and bars are just a couple of blocks away. Most folks just walk to them. The small market is maybe 5 minutes by car and has everything you'd need too. Cottage was perfect for us, cozy, with a nice living area and 2 bedrooms, efficiency kitchen and full sized fridge. Nice little yard too so we could store the bikes there, table and chairs and small fire pit and grill. Would definitely return. Loved it.

We had a short stay, only two nights but we really enjoyed the community and proximity to the beach. The house is very cozy and was perfect for our needs. It is close to a lot of historical sites and walking trails and we loved just walking through the neighborhoods looking at the beautiful properties and beach views.

There were just 2 of us who stayed at the propery, and it was perfect for us. Nothing fancy, but very cute. Close to Route 1 for getting around and it had all the little necessities. Check in and out was easy. Communication was excellent. Wouldefinitely stay again.
