Stayed Mar 27, 2025We greatly enjoyed our stay in this spacious, well appointed cottage centrally located in Aldeburgh, steps from the pretty high street and beach. The cottage has a big kitchen with up to date appliances and is open plan to a conservatory-style dining room, so the cook (me) was not separated from the rest of the group around meal times. The living room is big, but cozy with a huge comfy sectional and lounger that we used to relax in the evenings. There are glimpses of the sea from the upstairs bedroom and you can hear the waves breaking on the shore. Be aware that there are two big steps to get in the front door that doesn’t have a hand rail that my mother found challenging. Once inside, there are no stairs to negotiate (just one bedroom and bathroom upstairs).Our SUV fitted easily in the off street parking, the street is narrow, so having designated parking was a big plus for the driver (me)!The house was immaculately clean and very nicely decorated with seaside-themed art work. We all really liked the cottage.
