Lobster Pot is an outstanding property situated in one of the most idyllic spots in East Suffolk. Whilst in a truly rural location, the property is just a few minutes from the centre of Aldeburgh and the beach

Located on the grounds of Alde Bay Farm, this delightful property is set amongst tranquil farmland, with livestock in the surrounding fields. Alde Bay Farm is set in a delightful position at the end of a long drive in a secluded setting with far reaching views over the stunning meadows of the river Alde.

This recently refurbished accommodation is well laid out over two floors and is ideal for the group of 6 guests(5 Adults and 1 Child). The ground floor has three bedrooms as well as a family bathroom. A door open out onto rear patio area equipped with outdoor sitting and BBQ. The first floor offers a light and airy, contemporary open plan lounge, diner and a fully-equipped kitchen – an ideal space for relaxing and socialising.

Aldeburgh is one of the most desirable towns in the east of England with its beach and a range of shopping and recreational facilities. Nearby is the Heritage Coast with destinations such as Thorpeness, Snape Maltings, Southwold and nature reserves at RSPB Minsmere

There is a wide range of sporting facilities in the area with a number of good golf courses within easy reach as well as sailing on the rivers Alde and Deben. The area is also idyllic for both walking and bird watching.

    This was our third stay in Suffolk this year, we absolutely love Aldeburgh and this was the perfect location…The house was in a lovely location, somewhat hard to find in the dark and fog but once we knew where it was we didn’t miss the turning!House was perfect, we were a family of 5 with dogs and we fitted in perfectly! Beds comfy and the large living area was great and meant we could all be together even if doing separate things! Bath and shower were amazing, some this year haven’t been! The only thing I would have liked that we didn’t have was the outside area to be sectioned off securely, our dogs aren’t great off lead so would have been nice to just let them have a wee outside without having to put them on a lead every time…Overall fabulous stay and would definitely return!
