Nice simple cabin on beautiful lake. Small bathroom. There is a hair dryer provided. As is noted in description the loft is more for teens. Just too hard to maneuver stepping up onto floor from the ladder because of space and slant of roof line. We used the fold out sofa for one of us instead. It was old and not that comfortable but easier than the loft. It isn’t too far from Acadia NP and other activities. We ventured out every day.

This property is on a quiet dirt road on Toddy Pond. The cottage is rustic but adorable. The view is amazing, the pond is so clean you can see the bottom. My teenage boys loved fishing from the canoe.

This was a perfect place to retreat to after seeing Acadia. My kids said this was the best cabin we've ever been to. Super cute. We enjoyed the kayaks and playing in the lake. Momo's 24/7 self-service cheesecake is a must. 86This! was delicious. We hope to be back.

This cottage is situated on a beautiful lake. The living room is positioned so you can stare at the big windows at the lake. It is nestled amongst trees and has stairs down to a sandy beach where it was set up to have a fire on the beach as well as chairs to sit in. This cabin is rustic and very quaint. The property manager was very attentive, welcoming, and friendly.

Pretty clean. Lift is very small. Ladder left out in the middle of the kitchen was a bit of a hassle. No locks in windows and a very small bathroom. Cooking utensils old and worn out. Pans Teflon’s scratched. Poor light in the kitchen area so difficult to cook after dark. Missing window shades on the side window and front door. We had to put sheets and towels up at night. Uneven flooring throughout the cabin. Tv s have Only a few channel selections. cable went out a few times. Bedroom tv didn’t work and a small water heater. I ran out of water while showering after my spouse. No dishwasher or washer and dryer. Beautiful views but very remote. Watch out for ticks and check yourselves and Your pets.

We had a wonderful stay at the Overlook. The view was fantastic, use of kayaks & fire pit was great & we totally relaxed with our pup. The only thing we could have used was info on where the transfer station was, how to get the bedroom TV to work (we figured it out, though) & a starter roll of paper towels. Aside from these minute issues, this is a wonderful cabin to escape to! I’d definitely stay here again!

Great cottage for our vacation, weather did not cooperate but we had a great time. We did find a full diaper on the beach that was quite disgusting but other than that no compliants!

The house was clean. Has a beautiful view of the pond. (Seems more like a lake). Internet was strong, good video. Bring your own Roku or Fire dongle.

We loved our stay at this super cute little cabin. The view of the lake was so beautiful, the beds comfortable, and the place was clean. ? We were there in June and a heat wave came through with temperatures up to 95°. There is no air conditioning in the cabin and with those high temperatures it made sleeping uncomfortable. The only other thing that was a bummer was that the next-door neighbor has a light that turns on at dusk and stays on ALL night near their dock. That light, ruins your stargazing and any night photos of the moon and the lake. I understand that the owners of this cabin can’t do much about their neighbors, but it was really disappointing (and unnecessary) to have light pollution at such a beautiful location. — Over all this little cabin is charming and we enjoyed our stay!

This little cottage was the prefect get away for our family of 5. Our children LOVED the upstairs loft area and having their own little beach with the kayaks. The beach is beautiful and very relaxing. The loft area is more for children than it is adults. I would say the cottage fits 2 adults (bed downstairs) and 3 children (loft upstairs) perfectly. We did need to purchase some items (toilet paper, hand soap, dish soap, cleaning spray, and a sponge)- so plan to bring those items with you. Everything else was provided- towels, cookware, glassware, Keurig machine, etc. Neighborhood is very quiet. Bar Harbor is about 45-50 min away. Communication was great. We did not have any issues with service. Overall we loved our stay! Thank you!

Our family had an amazing stay at the cottage. It was clean and cozy. Having a beach right outside was very convenient. We enjoyed kayaking and swimming. We had an awesome vacation and highly recommend this cottage and management.
