Come and enjoy fishing, boating and relaxing on beautiful Rice Lake! Our private 3 bedroom cottage is located right on the water, a short walk from Harwood and a short drive from either Cobourg or Peterborough.

The cottage sleeps six comfortably plus there is a couch and extra cot if needed. Friendly well behaved pets are welcome too. Inside, watch a movie on the included DVD player or plug in your own hardware devices, play cards and board games at the kitchen table or just sit by the large patio door and relax.

Outside, fire up the gas barbecue and dine on the main deck or head up to the raised deck above the boathouse where you'll find chairs for lounging and suntanning. Light a fire in the fire pit on the lawn and sit in the sun or under the shade tree during the day and gaze at the sunset and stars at night. On the water enjoy swimming and paddling around the shoreline in the complimentary paddle boards, canoe or kayaks.

There is also space to tie your own small boat or other watercraft at the dock and boat rentals are available nearby. Bring your fishing gear and cast right off the private dock or head over to the sandbar across the bay for a great fishing spot (don't forget your fishing license!).

It’s definitely wonderful experience staying in this beautiful cottage with perfect lake view, various watercraft, BBQ, etc. we enjoyed our stay and had so much fun. Host is super nice and makes sure we have everything in need.

Loved our stay at this cottage! The dock for our boat was perfect, we got out fishing everyday. Clean and a great size for the 2 of us plus our dog. Outdoor space had great activities. Communication was good as well. Perfect on the lake location, couldn’t beat the view.

This cottage was the perfect place for a summer vacation. Everyone had a wonderful time and the lake was absolutely amazing to swim in! It’s the perfect place to watch the sunset and sunrise. We had a short but pleasant stay at Rice Lake. The hosts communicated with us well throughout our stay and we thoroughly enjoyed all the amenities - paddle boards, kayaks and pedalboat. Our only regret was that we could not stay longer. Hoping to be back again soon!

Lovely cottage. Very clean, comfortable, fun rooftop deck over the boathouse, great to sit on the back deck and enjoy meals and sunsets overlooking the lake, lots of watercraft to enjoy. Really appreciated that the hosts provided absolutely everything (linens, towels, soap, drinking water, basic cooking needs, and not just a single roll of toilet paper!). Caron provided excellent and timely communication. Definitely recommend a stay at this great cottage!
