Stayed Mar 27, 2025This is the second time we have rented this cottage this year and found it just as accommodating this time as we did last time. The facilities, cleanliness, and surrounding area are perfect for what we need. The owners respect guests privacy but are on hand if needed, friendly and very helpful. Thank you for another great holiday

Stayed Dec 31, 1969We had a wonderful stay, the cottage is very well equipped with everything you could need. The welcome pack is a lovely touch. It is well placed for a peaceful retreat but not far to the main roads so access all areas. There are some beautiful walks and we would highly recommend the walk around the loch(although we didn’t make it all the way round so we will be going back for a return trip) We would highly recommend a stay here. Stayed Dec 31, 1969‘Our first holiday since Covid curtailed all our plans and we couldn’t have chosen better. Lovely cottage with fantastic views over the Loch - well North Third Reservoir to be exact but no less beautiful for that.Perfect base for exploring Stirling,Loch Lomond and the Trossacks,Edinburgh,Bannockburn and Glasgow. Best bits of the holiday - -the walk around the reservoir and up Lewis Hill Crags with beautiful views overlooking Osprey Hideaways and further afield The Three Lochs Forest Drive in The Trossacks. Stayed Dec 31, 1969We enjoyed a fantastic week at Osprey Cottage and hope to return in the future. So much to do nearby and set in such a scenic peaceful location we actually spent 2 days relaxing around the cottage, Loch and surrounding forest rather than go out. This is unheard of for us. The cottage was well equipped, we didn’t find anything we needed missing. It was very clean and well maintained. The owner provides a information room with details of lots of activities, how to get to the cities etc plus on arrival there is a fantastic welcome pack that would get you through your first night in comfort should you not make it to a supermarket on your way.
