Oceanfront Cottage Near Restaurant, Stores

It was a great house and well equipped and amazing views of the ocean and sunset. The only downside side is with the frequent power outages in Eleuthera a backup generator for the property is a worthwhile investment. 5-6 hour outages daily almost totally ruined the vacation. Everything is electric, including the stove, so you can’t even cook and eat. It was hard with 2 toddlers.

This is a great cottage right on the water. Cleaning and well stocked. If we go back to Eleuthera, we will definitely stay here again!

It was a Perfect, cozy, super clean & comfortable house for a family of 5 get away for the week. Comfortable beds & linens, fully stocked kitchen with all appliances and so many extras including beach chairs beach towels & snorkel stuff to name a few. Very thoughtful modern decor and a great deck for us to gather to watch the beautiful Bahamian sunsets. The host communication is excellent, and the fully stocked local grocery store a few minutes away had everything needed including gas for our rental car . Highly recommend and would Definately return again.

Loved our stay at the Sand Dollar Cottage. The accommodation was exactly what we had hoped for, spacious yet cozy and everything we needed. The incredible view and wrap around porch were a bonus. Management was super friendly and very helpful as well. Highly recommend!

Fantastic welcome and a great place!

As you visit the beautiful island and meet the warm and wonderful people - proximity to sites and markets is important. The sand cottage is nestled in between a few great restaurants and markets so perfectly convenient. The house is well maintained and clean - while the floor creeks and beds are a bit harder than I prefer the home is well stocked and you can see the care in ownership to maintain a lovely retreat Great for two couples or small family - the team was attentive to ensure the stay was enjoyed - I do think anyone staying in Rock Sound would enjoy this place !

The cottage was clean and had everything we could possibly need. The owners were very responsive. We had a wonderful week!

Check in was smooth and the house was extremely clean. We were travelling with my adult daughter who needed to stay connected to the internet for her job, and we arrived to find that there was an island-wide internet outage. The property manager was even able to find us a MiFi box that allowed her to continue to work! Everyone was extremely helpful and friendly. We will definitey be back!

The beds were very comfortable, and there was enough sleeping space for the four of us. The AC kept us cool at night. I loved that there were toiletries available in case we forgot something, like bug spray. The out door shower was convenient to rinse sand off of our beach things. We had dinner two nights at Frigate’s, next to the rental, and it was pretty good food. The “concierge” service was super helpful because we arrived on a holiday and everything was closed. It was nice to come in and have groceries already there!! The rental is right on the water to which was amazing!

The home was superb on all accounts and them offering to stock the fridge and cabinets was over the top awesome. Every Airbnb should do that.
