Stayed Aug 9, 2025This cottage is perfect for a Maine retreat with your family. We had our two kids (5 and 2) with us. We were able to enjoy and explore the island all week, while only being a few minutes away from town. Ned is a great host and keeps his home in great condition. We hope to come back soon!

Stayed Aug 9, 2024Amazing views with beach access. Clearly a well maintained, much loved family home with a rich history that guests are lucky enough to get to learn about. All the amenities you could want, ocean breezes at night, and beautiful panoramic views all day. Highly recommend, this was a wonderful place to experience!

Stayed Aug 5, 2024We had the best few days with our 3 young kids. There was plenty to explore on the island and keep them busy while also being close enough to all that was happening in Boothbay Harbor. Ned was an amazing and very communicative helpful host. We loved every minute of our trip and can’t wait for our next Maine visit! Thank you Ned!

Stayed Aug 9, 2023This is a very special and welcoming home with 360 views and access to many outdoor activities. It also has a stunning porch for watching boats go by, listening to the ocean, relaxing, etc. Didn't want to leave! Ned is a great host. We are forever fans of Capitol Island!
