Observation Point: Prime Soundfront Location with Dock! Spectacular Sunsets!

The house is beautiful with breathtaking views and great proximity to the water. The dock and garage were just what we needed to fish and for my little one to play in the sand in the shade. Communicating with the owners was a pleasure. We’d love to come again!

Staying right on the sound is really a great option. The house was out of the busier tourist areas with shopping and restaurants close enough.We spent a lot of time fishing and crabbing in the backyard. Which are relaxing, fun, and productive. Each bedroom having it's own bathroom is really convenient when coming back from the beach or puting where you want to shower right away.The kitchen layout and size made it easy to use and had everything we needed.We would look at coming back again.

We were immediately enamored with Observation Point in Frisco, NC. The view could not be more captivating and peaceful. The location on Pamlico Sound was convenient to neighboring Buxton and Hatteras (including the ferry that you can take from Hatteras to Ocracoke). We found the furnishings were very comfortable and the amenities met our needs. We highly recommend this location/property for anyone desiring to get away from the hustle and bustle of Nags Head/Kill Devil Hills area. The perfect end to our day was courtesy of the amazing sunset views on the back porch followed by fantastic stargazing. The cell service/internet also enabled us to stay connected to family and work. The hosts went above and beyond, proactively reaching out to ensure that our needs were met and they were also extremely quick to respond to our inquiries. Should we return to the OBX we would definitely stay at this location all over again!!!

Our second year in a row. We use to book ocean front properties. Not anymore. We love sound side and we love Observation Point. God willing, we will be here next year.

Perfect getaway. No surprise’s.

Our family of four (kids 3 and 7) had a great time here this past August! This is a small but beautiful home that you can tell is well loved. It is the perfect size for our family, and the house is so nicely put together. The home was extremely clean (cleaning lady is wonderful and does a fantastic job!) Kitchen is small but functional, and really well stocked. The views the house offers are spectacular! Sunsets are gorgeous on the deck, a great spot for morning coffee or a family meal. We didn’t fish this time, but if you are into fishing this would be a great spot. Hammock underneath saw some action too, great spot to chill and the kids liked the novelty of hanging in it and purposefully falling into the sand. Our Ioniq 5 fit underneath in the parking area, the only thing that would make this house perfect (for us) would be if they installed a level 2 charger. The location is perfect in a nice quiet neighborhood, with friendly neighbors. It’s very close to the Hatteras ferry that takes you to Okracoke, and also to Connor’s, our fav grocery store. Lots of cute coffee shops and restaurants with really great food are also in the vicinity. The main draw for us is that this isn’t run by any management company (some on the island are really terrible) and the owners Miranda and Tom are lovely and super responsive. We already booked a week here next summer and would highly recommend. Thank you, Miranda and Tom, for sharing your slice of paradise with us!

Simply a piece of heaven. The view of the sound, the home’s comfort and the peace and quiet all equal solace for the soul. Our first time staying here but it won’t be our last. Suzanne M.

Enjoyed the 3rd stay at Observation Point

We've had the pleasure of staying at Observation Point for many years...and every year seems better than the last. The location on the sound is pure magic. Coffee in the morning, watching the birds is so peaceful...& The sunset are beyond description. The neighborhood is perfect for bike rides...and is conveniently located to stores and restaurants, and of course the beach. Observation Point is nourishment for our minds, bodies, and spirits.

Loved this house, the location was perfect on the water, the neighborhood was very quiet, the beds and pillows were fluffy and the place was very clean.

We loved this house on the sound side at Frisco with a dock. We were able to take our boat on this trip and fish the sound. We had a great neighbor. The furniture was very comfortable, the bed was comfortable and if we could afford to buy this house, we would. God willing, we will be back next year. Nick and Heidi

This is our third time staying here. The location is very good and close to many delicious eateries and fun art gallery shops. You can watch beautiful sunsets here or gorgeous sunrises. The home is well stocked and a comfy size. You will love this place!! Thank you Tom and Miranda:)
