Stayed Nov 9, 2025Amenities were exactly right for the location being close to well-known mountainous walking, hiking and tramping trails. The log fire was a life-saver on a cold night. The host was welcoming and helpful.

Stayed Apr 4, 2025Lovely wee converted cottage out the back of the owner's property, with a little stream and trees behind. Good fire and beds, alhtough we didn't get to use them as I had come down with a bug. Hope to be back again as it's a perfect location.

Stayed Nov 15, 2024Beautiful property, the kids loved the creek. Easy access point for walks, cafe and Methven. Wonderful owners who were great with the kids and very understanding when I had a health issue. Very comfortable beds, lovely fire. Highly recommend, definitely stay again!

Stayed Aug 2, 2024Its the second time we have both stayed at this lovely property and we would highly recommend it for those looking for a quiet rural retreat. It had all the basic amenities needed, comfortable beds and a nice woodburner to take the chill off the cold evenings.
