Newly Renovated Waterfront House on Lake Damariscotta

Beautifully redone home off the beaten path. Home was very clean and had everything we needed. You cannot get much closer to the water than this. I would not hesitate to stay here again. Everyone had a great time. Home is set up very well for a family of four or for entertaining a few friends.

Such a lovely spot right on the lake. We stayed in colder weather, but the house was cozy and the heat worked well. The house had everything we needed. We so enjoyed our stay!

The experience from start to finish was flawless. The house is updated beautifully and was so clean with perfectly stocked kitchen, comfortable bedrooms etc. We enjoyed the inside and outside and views were pure magic. The host was readily available and beyond helpful!

The house was beautiful and you can’t beat the proximity to the lake! The General Store and ice cream shop (5m drive) were great to have nearby. Would definitely recommend!

This was our second year staying at the Watch House. Kristin was extremely welcoming and easy to communicate with. The house is well stocked and comfortable. My children had an amazing time at swimming from breakfast until bedtime! We enjoyed a few good paddles and falling asleep to lapping waves and calling loons. It was perfect!

We had an wonderful stay over Memorial Day weekend with our family! The house was very clean, beautifully appointed, and it felt like we were floating on the water all weekend! The views were breathtaking! We felt so at home and Kristin was so responsive and accommodating. We had such a hard time leaving and can’t wait to go back next summer for a longer stay! What a magical spot. It was a perfect family getaway!

As soon as we crested the hill and saw the lake view, I knew we were in for a treat! This property has it ALL! To start, the kitchen was superbly outfitted, one could make a 6 course meal and not miss a beat! The bed was super comfy, linens top notch and again, that VIEW! The overall feel of the house was one of calm. It was one of the cleanest we've ever encountered, tastefully decorated and had everything you could imagine to unplug and enjoy nature! The games, dock and boats, cozy reading spots, fire pit....ahhhhh! Kristen was easy to get connect with if we had any questions. I would recommend this lovely rental property to anyone searching for a truly special getaway!

My stay at Kristin’s home was nothing short of exceptional! From the moment we booked, Kristin’s communication was amazing—clear, timely, and so welcoming. Her warmth as a host made me feel completely at ease.The home itself is absolutely beyond stunning. Every detail has been thoughtfully curated, from beautiful high-quality linens to the fully appointed kitchen, which had every item I could have ever imagined needing (i love to cook and often renting you end up having to improvise... or pack up your whole kitchen to bring which is not practical for a few days stay). Everything I needed was right there.The instructions provided for the home were so clear, making it easy to settle in and enjoy our stay without a single hitch. Everything worked seamlessly—no surprises, just a perfectly maintained space that felt like a true home away from home. And... the views... TO DIE FOR.Kristin, you’ve set the bar incredibly high. We had a perfect Thanksgiving weekend in this lake house. The home feels like you are floating on water. Everywhere we looked we saw the lake. The furniture and decor created a serene feeling and was also comfortable. The kitchen is stocked with every tool one can need. Communication with the host was easy when we needed help with WiFi. Highly recommend and we hope to return.

This is our 3rd extended stay at this amazing 5-star lake house! Walking in the front door feels like coming home. It’s so tastefully decorated and the cozy vibes come through in every room!! Beds are amazing and if it wasn’t for the lake view, I’d have my morning coffee there! But, one of the two decks is much better for “coffee with a view” in the morning or wine in the evening! We have been here in the summer, spring and fall seasons and I honestly could not pick a favorite! Kristen is immediately responsive and is such a pleasure to work with. There just aren't enough superlatives to describe how soul-soothing this place is!

Beautiful cabin in Damariscotta Lake. It had everything we needed for our quiet getaway. The location is breath taking. We to go back one day!hope to go

Our family of five and dog had an wonderful stay at the house. It was very clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed. Owners were very good in communicating and easy to work with. We had a power failure as a strong front blew through but the backup generator kicked in without any disruption. My son caught largemouth and smallmouth bass off the dock. Highly recommended and hope to come back for a longer stay in the future!

Had a lovely stay at the lake house! It served our group perfectly - my husband and I with our 2 adult sons and their partners. Enough room to spread out in with different areas to lounge, along with a generous eating area and deck and dock. The host was responsive with issues during our stay (some glitches with the key code) and all was resolved easily and quickly Although this is a 4 bedroom home, the 4th bedroom is quite small and may not accommodate another couple comfortably. Easy access to neighboring towns and an easy pontoon boat rental. Thank you for helping make our stay memorable.

This property is one of the better homes I have rented! It was great for my family of 8 including a 15 month old. The home inside is gorgeous. You feel like you are in a cruise ship with all the windows facing the lake! We loved the open plan. It would have been nice to have ceiling fans although floor fans were provided, thank you! They would be a great upgrade to bedrooms as it was a humid and hot week. We especially loved the dock and the kitchen was furnished with great appliances and never seen before excellent cooking pans, utensils and cutlery which is a pep-peeve of mine as I rent 1/2 dozen rentals a year and most are terrible in this area.

This house is located as close as possible to the water as can be with incredible views and privacy. The dock is right next to the house - you can’t beat this type of ease to jumping into the lake. Kristin was an incredible host. Her responsiveness went way beyond what could be expected- she texted us directly for absolutely everything. The house is clean, cozy and perfect for a group of all ages. Highly recommend this spot for a group trip with family and friends!
