Stayed Jul 9, 2016My husband and I, along with our small dog, were delighted make the Cosy Cottage our temporary home for an extended stay this summer. Stayed Dec 31, 1969Emily Carr's Cozy Cottage was delightful and the location, in the heart of James Bay, was ideal. Just a half block off of Dallas Road we could walk for miles along the paths next to the ocean. There are several access points for going down to the beach as well. There is only on street parking but we were always able to park right in front of the cottage. It was an easy walk to the inner harbor and downtown Victoria. The cottage is 3 blocks from the James Bay Thriftys (nice grocery store). The house itself is charming. It is tiny and the closet space very minimal but adeuquate for a holiday. The kitchen is lovely and well equipped. The bed was comfortable but note that it is right up against 3 walls with no possibility of being moved out. I had to crawl out across my husband to get out of bed if he was still in it. The yard is fenced with a BBQ out back. We would definitely recommend this cute cottage!
