Stayed Aug 2, 2025We attended this property with two adult couples for a 2 night stay. The property is beautifully maintained, clean and has lovely French Provincial styling. The major drawback is the bedding. The beds are very short and don't have proper mattresses, rather something akin to futons. I am 177cn and my feet touched the bedhead. Both couples also found sleeping to be very uncomfortable due to the bedding not being proper mattresses. The MOST important thing in any accommodation must be the bedding and in this case while beautiful to look at the bedding succumbs to form over function. Similarly the bathroom has a lovely looking high sided bathtub into which the shower head sprays. Beautiful to look at but awkward and dangerous to get into and use especially for our wives. But for these issues I would have awarded it 5 stars across the board.

Stayed Oct 18, 2024Gorgeous home with loads of character Super inviting, light and bright From the large rooms to the sunny garden...we could have been in the south of France Lazy afternoons on the back veranda, safe and secure back yard for kids, firepit with marshmallows under the stars and a 5 mins stroll to the heart of Mudgee , cafes , shops, walks, markets, bought local produce back and cooked up a feast on the bbq then played Canasta , laughed and shared stories,, wonderful memories....100 % recommend.

Stayed Jan 4, 2024We stayed 3 nights in early January. There was an issue when arriving where we found that the house hadn’t been cleaned after the last guest checked out. However, the property manager was very quick to rectify the situation, providing us with complimentary coffees at a local cafe while the house was being cleaned. On entering the second time, we were blown away with the beautiful furnishings and finishes. Worth noting is that the shower is over the bath and is quite high to step into it, so this may affect anyone with mobility issues. Location wise, the house is just a couple of blocks away from the centre of town. Overall, we would definitely recommend staying here and would love to stay here again, perhaps in winter with the fire going!

Stayed Jan 8, 2024We stayed here for 4 nights while visiting family in Mudgee. Overall the house is excellent. We were travelling with our 12 year old son and pet Labrador. We were so pleased to be able to book somewhere that was so nice to stay and also pet friendly. Lovely back yard and fenced both front and back. If your dog is a yappy type, note that there is a childcare right over the road so plenty of cars pulling up early in the morning. To save time i'll just list the negatives, but everything overall was fantastic. - If you're staying in summer - note that one of the three bedrooms doesn't have air conditioning. the two other bedrooms do. -the bathroom looks lovely but the free standing bath with shower attachments mean that if you want a shower you're going to completely flood the bathroom. Not a massive inconvenience but be aware if you have mobility issues as you will be stepping over a high bathtub onto a wet floor. Thats all...everything else was perfect.

Stayed Jul 21, 2023The house lived up to the photos and had everything we needed. My only critique would be that the bathroom needs a shower curtain or screen. We really enjoyed our stay at Mudgee Maison and I would recommend staying here!
