Mountain View Getaway!

This is a beautiful home.The host has amazing communication skills. The downside to the home is that the heating elements didn't heat the house/rooms regardless what the temp. was set at. It was very cold. And you can only access the other bedroom by going outside.

The home was beautiful and worked well for our group. The kitchen was smaller than expected but we made it work.

Loved the view! That was the reason I booked this cabin! The beds were nice & comfy. The water pressure was nice. It was nice to have a separate room downstairs. It says it doesn't have a grill, but the fire pit does have a grate that you can cook on. Can cook over coals or wood. Our steaks & potatoes were delicious! :P

This is a very nice place with good views and quiet solitude. However we have stayed very close by on Quail Run for several years and we have been very spoiled by full on sunrise with views of lake and golf course down below. Our old rental is no longer available so this home was quite nice and we would stay here again.It was very disappointing that we didn’t have use of the fireplace. I knew before booking but after arriving and having the nice cool temps, I longed for a cozy fire to curl up with at night. The alternative was to go outside around the back to use a fire pit. That wasn’t appealing to us. Another disappointment was no grill on the front porch. In fact, no grill at all. We bring all of our food with us from FL when we come and most of it needs a grill for cooking. I somehow missed the notice of no grill if there even was one. We managed to find a way to cook on the open fire of the fire pit after buying some grates, but again, that was in the back of the house so not convenient.We came during peak foliage season and the colors were spectacular from the porch and the weather was perfect. The mountain has a great location and accessible to Waynesville, Lake Junaluska, Silva and Maggie Valley. All the places we love. I must say after being caught in the hurricane last year, the stay this year was much more relaxing. I think anyone would enjoy staying at this home.

The pictures actually do not do the views justice! We pulled up and were in absolute awe of the beauty at this property. The house was cozy and has everything you need for a relaxing, mountain getaway. Hoping to come back soon!

Perfect stay. Beautiful view.

The house is lovely and the mountain view is fantastic. I would suggest that the owners fix the rock grill outside. It appears that the trees have taken over it. The trees also need to be pruned in the driveway area.I would have loved to use the hammock, but it was just the frame. Overall, the house is great and the views are amazing. I love the deck on the back of the house!

If you are looking for a view, it would be hard to beat this location. Comfortable house, has a great separate guest room below

It was amazing to sit on the porch a watch the beautiful sunrises every morning. We had a family of wild turkeys near the end of the driveway which were fun to see. It was a lovely place to stay and I would certainly go back next summer to escape the heat.

We returned to this property a second time and the views were exactly as we remembered…stunning!

We had a wonderful time at this home! It was a super long drive up to the house (15-20 min) but it was so worth it when you see the views. Home was comfortable and you felt you could relax like you were home! We will definitely be back…

Great property with incredible view. The cabin was well stocked and the furniture was comfortable. Communication with the host was great. I enjoyed the cool mountain mornings and spent most of my time at the cabin however Maggie Valley and Waynesville were just a short drive away. The best amenity was being able to open the large glass doors and enjoy the cool mountain air with a great view from a comfortable recliner!

Beautiful property with tremendous views. A clean house with all the conveniences. The view from the living room and large deck is amazing.

House was perfect, very high up on mountain. Beautiful Big Windows & Doors. View from the deck was so awesome. Enjoyed early morning sunrises. Breath Taking. We enjoyed seeing snow. Easy access to town. Most Amazing Getaway From everything. Just Peaceful

Fantastic views. The place was as advertised. Very nice and comfortable. Long drive with winding road up the mountain, but well worth it for the views and privacy. Lots of wildlife in the area but close to all the amenities that you might want good shopping and restaurants close by. Will definitely return!

This stay was the best we have had to date. Perfect location, super clean and well appointed. Will repeat again in the future. The house has amazing views! Very relaxing to enjoy the front and rear porches to soak in the outdoors.

Highly recommend. Cabin is great. View are even better. I will warn, if you plan on going down to the valley often make sure your not the car sick type cuz the road up the mountains is full of zig zags.

Roomy place with spectacular views, wife loved the private screened porch, the double slider that opens up the whole LR to Mountain View’s was great One of bedrooms with full bath was detached and a nice bit of privacy if staying with more people

It was magical. The property is awesome and the view is incredible.

We rented the property for 4 nights and truly enjoyed our stay. The ever changing views of the mountains was spectacular. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen was well supplied. We give it a 5 star rating and in the future... we may do it again.

We felt very secluded on top of the mountain with great views, but close to things to do. Very quiet and serene! Everything was as described in the information too. Fast response time to any questions we had. Loved it!!

Cottage was just as advertised. Beautiful view and convenient location near a Blue Ridge Parkway access. Suzy was quick to respond to any questions regarding the residence.
