Stayed Oct 14, 2025What a beautiful cottage!! It was very clean, comfortable and spacious. Very nice place to put your feet up and relax after a day of travel. We were able to make our breakfast and dinner using the well equipped kitchen. We also appreciated the brochures and map of the area on the information desk. My husband and I highly recommend Mortara Cottage.

Stayed Jun 26, 2025A large one bed cottage, 2 bathrooms, open plan kitchen, diner, living area, fitted out to a high standard. Very comfortable super king size bed. Much larger than the photos portrayed. An outside shed available for storing bikes, lovely garden. Breda has thought of everything to make our 5 night stay memorable.

Stayed Nov 6, 2024Loved the property. Felt like home. Breda was available for any questions. Full-size frig and gas stove was a great plus as well as the washer, dishwasher and 2 baths with showers. Ballylongford is a gem. The Centra is nearby for any grocery needs. Gusto's will handle any pizza fix you may have. Be sure to stop by the Forge for coffee and sweet treats - especially the carrot cake. Thanks Breda for the use of the cottage!

Stayed Aug 14, 2024Mortara Cottage not only met but exceeded our expectations. It is beautiful, clean and cozy with all the modern amenities! The garden is lovely and the hosts, Breda and Sean, were welcoming and went above and beyond to make our stay memorable. The location was perfect for us - close to Ballybunion, Tralee, Listowel and a short drive to the Shannon Ferry. Would love to return and highly recommend!
