Mökki: Dovetail Log Cabin in the Heart of Downtown

The Mokki Dovetail was an awesome alternative to the typical hotel stay. We parked right in front of the cabin throughout our stay. We could walk all around Grand Marais and didn't need our car. Even though we were amazingly close to everything, it was very quiet and relaxing. The full kitchen was well stocked with what we needed. Bring your own Bluetooth speaker and enjoy this gem in town. We will definitely keep it on our list next time we visit.

We loved everything about it~with the exception of the tiny couch and chair which was the only seating. They weren’t very comfortable-?

The location of the Mokki is wonderful, as it's within walking distance to pretty much everything we wanted to do!! It is a cute and welcoming little cottage that provided everything we needed during our stay!

This is a really neat little cabin in a quiet neighborhood, yet close to all the great spots to see in Grand Marais. The cabin was very clean, furnished with lots of love and attention to detail and made us feel right at home. Thanks so much for a beautiful stay!

My boyfriend and I had a lovely weekend stay at the Dovetail-Mokki location. It was such a great location, everything is so accessible and there was a great binder with a list of places to hike, eat, etc. The checkin and checkout process was incredibly easy as well. Can't wait to come back in the future!

Cozy, clean and efficient cabin in the heart of the town. Shops, restaurants, pubs and Lake Superior shoreline all within walking distance. Great location and would stay again. Grand Marais is a beautiful town with abundant hiking and biking trails optimal for exploring.

We enjoyed our stay at Mokki Dovetail it had everything we needed and the location was ideal. We liked the house, the colors and vibe. It was also spotless!

Quaint small cabin. Comfortable. Very limited space for extra luggage, hang up clothes. Very convenient location to all local businesses, galleries, restaurants. Excellent walking and biking paths.

Location is great. Able to walk to everything! Fun to stay in a log home in downtown Grand Marais. We thought it was somewhat overpriced.
