Mermaid's Muse - Includes GOLF CART! Close to beach & downtown Ocean Springs!

We really enjoyed the outdoor porch and balcony, the close proximity to town, the availability of the golf cart which we used repeatedly, and the ambiance of the house. It would have been a tight fit with three couples, which we had first considered, but it worked very well for the four of us.

We loved staying at the house and plan on returning soon.

Our stay at the Mermaids Museum was excellent. The property was clean and the check in and checkout was very easy. The coordinating host was very quick in responding to any questions that we had. We didn’t have to wait for an answer. The area was very simple to get around and there was close access to the beach. A trip well worth it.

This is my second time with this property. Once with a bachelorette group and once with my son and fiancé. Both times were a perfect fit with this home. The owners are communicative, and the location is perfect. We took the golf cart everywhere. So much easier downtown. I’m from OS originally and enjoy coming back to visit. We’ll be back soon.

The cottage was perfect! We loved the proximity to the Ocean Springs downtown, using the golf cart, and the spacing was fantastic for three girls to use. I highly recommend for guests considering this space. A great getaway for a girls weekend!

Smaller than it appears in the photos... The handrail on the stairs to the second floor intersects with the windowsill halfway up, causing many bruised knuckles...

Loved the Mermaid cabin. It is beautiful! We had a very relaxing stay. easy golf cart ride to the beach and downtown. If you can, highly recommend the Walter Anderson Museum with the audio tour. Sipping coffee in the morning on either of the decks. Also Easy to work We’ll be back!

Traveled with our 2 small dogs. The place was perfect and having the golf cart to take down for shopping and eating. Our second time staying in this area and we love the neighborhood.

The location is great! We just happened to stay when there was a big St Paddy’s celebration. Lots of fun, but when got back to our house, it was far enough away that it was quiet. Chris was easy to communicate with. We loved this place and would definitely stay here again.

The house was perfect. Close to everything, easy to find, and very comfortable.House was very clean, stocked with everything we needed.Layout was perfect, main bedroom on ground floor, two bed rooms and bath up stairs. Great separation. Bonus powder room was a plus.Close to all the restaurants and bars, but far enough away to be peaceful. Golf cart was convient and fun.E

This cottage is cozy and elegant. The half bath off the living room is extremely convenient. Fun places to visit nearby, natural beauty, and a relaxed pace of life make a getaway to the mermaids muse well worth it.

We had the best time at Mermaid Muse. Our family of 4 loved the quaint and cozy style of the house. It was beautifully decorated and accommodating. The bedrooms and bed were so comfortable! We had the best nights of sleep there and when you are traveling - that’s important! The golf cart was a great and convenient feature for hitting the downtown and restaurants. The house was so close to everything - it was just perfect. The host was very attentive and provided great communication. We will definitely stay again in the future!!

The Mermaid's Muse was the perfect location for our girls weekend away. The place was exactly as pictured and was in a great location. Close to everything but still quiet. The golf cart was a great bonus and we used it a lot.

Beautiful cottage. Clean and very functional. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We enjoyed using the golf cart much more than anticipated. The porch was nice, but was next to street traffic, and a Keurig coffeemaker was not available as indicated. But overall, an excellent place to stay. We would definitely recommend.

Great spot, great decoration, comfortable beds, killer golf cart! This would be one heck of a spot for ocean springs Mardi Gras parade! Would definitely stay again!

This house is a great place to stay -super close to downtown and a short golf cart ride to the beaches. The golf cart was a BIG bonus with the town having plenty of parking for the carts. I wouldn’t stay anywhere without a cart. The only draw back is house is on main road so you do hear some traffic at front of house but not enough to keep us from staying here again. Nice property!

The stay was very peaceful and relaxing. The cottage was precious. Getting around town with the golf cart was wonderful.

My husband and I had a great time! We got out for a much needed date night & decided to get a place to stay for the night. The Mermaid Muse did not disappoint! Beautiful, clean, and comfortable stay!

Very nice location, easy to find and access, the golf cart was greatly appreciated. The décor has caused an existentialistic crisis with my wife, she now wants to redecorate our house like this one. I'm not sure if I can survive a whole house redecorating campaign. It's a great place to stay. We enjoyed our visit to Ocean Springs.

Did not realize it was on a busy road. Could not use the porches and one of the bedrooms was difficult to sleep in.

We loved this place and the golf cart! Adorable cottage nestled in a safe area amongst other cottages. It was close to the beach and everything in the downtown area and the golf cart made it easy for us to get around with our 6 month old. We truly enjoyed our stay!

Mermaid’s Muse is a beautifully decorated small cottage, two stories, just on the edge of a vibrant and interesting downtown area and just a few blocks from the beach and the harbor.We loved the photos, but when we drove up, I didn’t see how the space we saw in the ad would fit into the cottage I was seeing. But it does. Beautifully. The three bedrooms are comfortably appointed and large enough to accommodate a couple in each room. The master has a king bed, and the others have either a full or queen. The kitchen is up-to-date and includes everything you’d need to feel at home, including a corkscrew and serving pieces. The living space is cozy and great for hanging out. The upper and lower porches are quiet and pleasant for coffee in the mornings and a glass of wine in the evenings. It felt like home, except I can only wish my home was a tastefully and comfortably decorated as the cottage.The golf cart was a fun addition, and access was easy. We absolutely would stay again and would (and will) recommend it to others.

We stayed here with our daughter and 2 grandsons. It was the perfect size for us. The upstairs balcony was the perfect place for some quiet time. We were close enough to the beach to walk our dogs down there, but we also loved having a golf cart to ride around in. Chris (the property manager) was great to reach out and see if we needed anything.

The place was super cute and clean. My daughters absolutely loved the look of this place. The golf cart being included was fantastic and made getting around so much easier. Look forward to staying here again.

This property was better than the pictures show!!! All the little details inside are spectacular and the golf cart is top notch! This is, by far, the best place and experience we’ve had!!!!

The Mermaid Cottage is the perfect spot for a getaway in Ocean Springs!It’s right on the main road, Government St, great size, stocked with anything you’d need, 2 nice size porches, parking, and the icing on top…a golf cart! Highly recommend this rental!

We loved this place! So much room and super clean. If we had any questions we got them answered. It’s close enough to the downtown area. Bonus…a golf cart for 4 was included. It was so convenient to get to the shops, delicious restaurants, and the beach area. I’ve been to OS several times and it is a lovely place for an adult trip. My teen enjoyed the shopping too. Definitely recommend and would stay again, if I go back.

This was such a cute, homey place to stay right near downtown Ocean Springs. We were able to ride the golf cart to local restaurants. The host was very responsive to messages. Overall great experience!

One word......fabulous. Mermaid Muse and Ocean Springs did NOT disappoint. We did a short trip not knowing what to expect. We will definitely make a return for longer next time. Cottage was beautiful. Town was beautiful. Golf Cart was an added sell for us. We really enjoyed it.
