The cottage sleeps six people in two bedrooms which are a king-size double and a twin room with a sofa bed in the living area. There is also a separate shower room and a basin and WC. Completing the accommodation is an open plan living area with a kitchenette, dining area and sitting area with anelectric fire. Outside guests have use of the shared formal gardens and there is a private patio area. Off road parking for two cars is also available. Mercat Cottage is a fantastic choice with many activities in the nearby area.

    Property was lovely, in the grounds of cockenzie house. Very nice garden and very clean. No complaints at all.

    The cottage was lovely the only problem we had was dog hair's wich my daughter had a bit of a reaction to aart from that we were made very welcome and everyone was friendly

    Due to Covid19 we had to cancel our trip. Still waiting for the property manager to approve our refund. We were so looking forward to this trip. However our Government said stay at home, yours said stay away.

    Nice area to visit, authentic, bright and spacious cottage. Cafe on premise is a nice touch .
