Stayed Jun 2, 2025We had a lovely stay, house was a great size and very short walk to the beach. There were plenty of toys to keep the children entertained. Only downside was the house was in a need of a decent spring clean, it was a bit dusty and there were cobwebs. We couldnt use the bbq as it hadnt been cleaned since its last use im guessing. We did have a nice time though.

Stayed Feb 20, 2025Perfect spot to stay in amazing Matapouri. The house is pretty well equipped for large family or group. Large garden and deck are entertainer’s dream. Our toddler loved toys, trampoline and swings. Highly recommended!

Stayed Jan 23, 2025This was a brilliant place for us to stay on a trip with three adult sisters and their kids. The set up of the rooms (the bunk room comes off one of the double rooms) works for family but means lots of traffic through that room. Two toilets is great. The yard is brilliant - lovely and private, nice to sit outside with a big group.

Stayed Oct 24, 2024Great stay thoroughly enjoyed our time there. Super close to shops and beach. It was windy when we were there but the house was nice and sheltered. Can’t complain about anything would definitely stay again

Stayed Sep 24, 2024When we arrived the house smelled terrible - found a fish gutting station alongside the house with fish waste washed under the house (including main bedroom and bathroom). Smell was awful. Called Bachcare are received no follow up call as promised, or no assistance. We couldn't use one of the rooms for 2 nights due to the smell. House also has insufficient hot water supply.

Stayed Dec 31, 1969Fantastic property, big enough for a large family or cosy enough for two! Large open kitchen with plenty of equipment and cooking utensils. Very close to the beach, being only a couple of minutes walk. Bed was comfy and the property was clean and well looked after.
