We enjoyed our stay at Mariposa for a long Labor Day Weekend. Home was very clean and beautifully decorated, and the gated neighborhood was fantastic and felt very safe. It was also conveniently located just a few minutes from the island. The host was super responsive and friendly when I had a few questions. We would definitely rent this place again in the future! The only things we really didn't like was the fact there is no lighting at all in the back of the house. There was a motion light at the bottom of the back stairs but it never worked. There was no light at all in the back. A flood light somewhere back there would be super helpful, but that was a very minor inconvenience compared to everything else and how great it was overall! Also, the main bathroom has a sliding door that does not lock and has a huge gap which can be a small problem if you like privacy. Fixing the gap and adding a lock, or even just adding a lock for the feeling of a little bit more privacy should definitely be considered. But again, it was a very minor inconvenience comparatively. I'm still giving a full 5 stars in every category and only mentioning the two small issues we had as something the property owners may want to consider looking into in the future. The cleanliness, the beautiful home, the neighborhood, and the proximity to the island make this a property I would highly recommend considering for your stay in Sneads Ferry/Topsail. The property was a great place to stay. We were down visiting our Marine. We enjoyed being close to the base, but also the quietness of the community. The house was just as advertised, very clean and spacious enough for us to have a great family visit.

We had an amazing stay! The house is perfect, clean, and right by so much great stuff to do. The hosts were communicative and very sweet! It was my husbands birthday and they had left a car and a box of really nice cookies for us. I can’t recommend this place enough. It was 10/10 for us!

This was a short weekend trip for two longtime best friends. Our goal was to relax and catch up. Mariposa was perfect! The house is so cute and cozy and had everything we needed. The kitchen is well stocked for cooking . The sheets and towels provided were quality and the house was perfectly clean. The neighborhood is nice and perfect for a walk. Definitely a place to revisit and hopefully stay longer. Thanks for sharing your place!
