Mardi Gras Cottage, 4 km to French Quarter

We had trouble getting in every time using door key. TV did not work. We heard gun shots so we checked out a day early. I wouldn't stay there again we. didn't like the neighborhood.

The best host ever, we had our flight cancelled. The host step up for us and even though he had our place rented found another place for us to stay. we had the greatest time the property was perfect for us.

Michael the owner keeps his rentals clean and updated. He makes sure he has information for every renter on where to go, eat, and how to get there. Very nice, comfortable and clean. I would definitely rent again.

Our cottage was very clean and just right for my daughter and i to get together and spend some time together and enjoy the very nice pool. Michael was a great host and very helpful. thanks!

Great dog friendly space for the area

Such a beautiful property. Lovely place, comfortable, clean, and convenient!Only thing would have liked to have had a heads up on, is the courtyard area is a shared space with 3 other units.But absolutely no complaints about any of it! Host was very helpful at any time of the day.

Very clean and quiet. Off street parking. The owner responded to every question. My second stay and looking forward to my third!

My husband and I enjoyed our stay. The cottage is clean and had everything we needed. The fenced in yard was nice and environment was relaxing. And the location is nice and close to attractions.

After traveling from Houston then being rear ended on i10 we got to the house super late and had trouble finding the house in the dark but the Host responded super quick and was very helpful. The house was perfect for my husband, pup and I. Huge yard and everything you need for a quick trip. Walmart and restaurants 5 mins down the road and the Hosts restaurant recommendations were amazing! We needed a later check out due to a cheer competition and the Host was very accommodating. The only thing I will say is there are multiple rental properties on the lot, so you might run into some neighbors that share the same drive-way and yard. Overall, great stay and great Host!

The location was great! The place was clean, the neighborhood was nice. We walked the neighborhood two times during our stay, appears to be safe, no concerns. The place is pet friendly, there are bags and pooper scoopers for you to pick up after your dog. If we come back to New Orleans we will choose this place. One thing I will say, the place is a little dated, so if you want luxury, you will have to spend more money. :) The other thing we would like to have known is there were other people staying on the property. It appears there are three cottages together. One day we came back to the place and there were two people sitting on the patio drinking. It was a little alarming, but they were friendly. We did not have any contact with the host, as everything was laid out in the welcoming email. This is an excellent place to stay, convenient location, and the price is right!

Great location! Confusing at first which cottage but quickly sorted out. Walmart within minutes and a daiquiri shop at end of street! Highly recommend !!

We had a great stay in this cute little cottage!!! It was SUPER clean, great location and quiet neighborhood. Michael was friendly and quick to react to any of our needs! We would definitely stay here again!

We enjoyed our stay at the Mardi Gras Cottage. It was clean and the location was quiet. The Audubon Trail was close enough to bicycle to. We felt secure and enjoyed the proximity to New Orleans proper. We would love to return sometime.Thank you Michael!

Property was fenced and great for our puppy as well as for us. Location was good and the owner gave a great restaurant recommendation!

If you have pets this place is perfect. Huge fenced yard, home on a slab no steps, and all floors are tile. photos are representative of property.

Great Location!What a great location to escape to after a day in New Orleans. Large, private fenced-in yard (perfect if you have a dog) nice covered patio to relax on and feel those warm Gulf breezes….with a cocktail, of course. Host was available and responsive if needed.

House was clean and had everything you needed in case you forgot things. Instructions for check in were easy to follow. It also had washer and dryer in case you needed to wash anything.

Nice big yard for our dogs, clean space, easy access, so close to the French Quarter. Really enjoyed our stay!

Michael's cottage is well appointed, quiet, and comfortable. It can sleep four people comfortably, has a full kitchen, in-unit laundry, and tile flooring throughout. Michael allows dogs, and the fully fenced backyard is huge! The attached covered patio is great when it's cool out. My partner and I, as well as our two dogs, enjoyed staying here and treated it like our home for a week while waiting to close on our new home. Michael called me the day of check in to ensure I had found everything okay, recommend dining options in the area, and ask if we needed anything. Michael is a very communicative host, and ensured we had a good stay.I strongly recommend staying here!

Lovely place with just about everything we needed. We didn't cook, but pans and utensils seemed adequate. Close to Bourbon Street area and the sights we wanted to visit. Just great!

(I’m not sure what the winery experience is as we did not see any wineries). We enjoyed staying at this property with our small dog. There’s plenty of grass on both sides of the property (there’s a home and two separate cottages). The cottage is perfect for the two of us; it also had a day bed that pulls out, but we found it somewhat uncomfortable to sit on as there’s not a couch. We alternated sitting on the recliner chair. The bed was comfortable to sleep on and towels, shampoos/liquid soap available. The cottage was clean and has basics available for cooking. We appreciated the booklet giving recommendations for restaurants! We went to Parish Cafe and Me-Me’s. We felt safe and would definitely come back with our dog! The str Jazmine arch between the two cottages smelled amazing!

The stay was fantastic! The owner was easy to reach, neighbors were friendly and the cottage was very cozy. Loved the experience in New Orleans! Would definitely stay again in the future. Recommend!

The shower did not work, pillows were flat, and there was a rat. Full length body mirror would’ve been great!! Other than this it was fine.

It was our first time visiting New Orleans and was told to stay in surrounding areas! This place did not disappoint. It was quaint, quiet, and clean! The host was also easy to reach.
