Make memories - located on Seneca Lake 8 miles south of Geneva

Excellent communication with host. Cottage as described. Had everything we needed. Spent most afternoons, early evenings sitting in side yard looking out at lake. Very relaxing; great view. Close to wineries, restaurants, shopping.

Very clean, cozy and comfortable. Our host was very easy to communicate with. Good location.

Everything was great

House was very clean. Back screened in porch was great for dinner and relaxing. Fire pit near the water was perfect We did have a boat with us and wished we knew beforehand that the driveway made it impossible to access the property. Other than that are stay was great.

First thing: take my review with a grain of salt; as with many things in life, expectations are important, and perhaps my my party's expectations were a little high for a fairly budget-friendly lakeside house. In hindsight, and based on the overwhelmingly positive reviews of this place, I think most people will (and should) really enjoy their stay.The good: the location and the exterior. Views are incredible. The setup is very private, and neighbors on either side are basically fully shielded from view. The grounds are amazing. The lake is beautiful, there are plenty of places to enjoy the outdoors, and they even setup a nice firepit and firewood for a wonderful experience. On the inside, the house has plenty of fans for nice air circulation, it has a single air conditioner unit in the living room, and that did a fine job of keeping us cool. The TV has all the channels and you can fire up your own streaming services, plus the Internet connection is excellent, so for a lake cabin you could work remotely just as well as being in an office. The main queen bed is comfortable.The only downside was the place seemed to need a really thorough deep cleaning, and I think we stayed there after someone had some lake water on the carpet that had a bad odor. But the manager was very good about feedback and I am sure the vast majority of future guests will be delighted with this place. Just go in knowing it is an old lake cabin, but it has plenty to offer for a great stay.

We had a wonderful week at this cottage. Plenty of room and we loved the screened porch. Cottage had everything we needed and the owners were very responsive to our questions. Beach front was great and no seaweed so you could walk right into the lake! Only improvement would be ladder on the dock. GREAT place to rent.

The property is perfect. The price is right. It is a cottage. This comes with the awesome screen porch and ceilings to the roof. The rooms are not spacious but that is what we expect in a cottage. Perfect furnishings and very clean. Very private and great property.

We enjoyed our stay here on the lakefront property. We went swimming every day as it was in the high 80’s every day. The cottage was very hot when we first checked in. A/C was not turned on and it took a few days to cool down. I enjoyed the screened in porch and slept out there several days. Kitchen and bathroom supplies were everything we needed. Would like to stay here again, maybe next year!

The location was spot on for winery tastings, and the porch was our beginning and ending of each day. Wildlife and views that were superb. Quiet and relaxing waiting for the small train each day. Bravo!

Lovely piece of lake front, nice dock, plenty of lawn for games. Screened in porch with trundle bed, chairs, picnic table. Mermaid rock to the left of the dock. Lots of fossils. Quiet neighbors. We couldn't have asked for a better spot.

This cottage is located just south of Geneva and positioned so we were able to get to the other towns (Dundee, Penn Yan, Hamondsport, etc.) with in 30 minutes to an hour of the cottage.

Cottage was very comfortable and included all desired amenities. Convenient location that allowed, close access to Roys Marina for boat rental and near many wineries for wine tasting. Also, close to Geneva and Seneca Falls for sight seeing.
