Maine Lakefront Escape: Dock, Watercraft, Fire Pit

We had a great stay at this beautiful lake house ! You couldn’t ask for a more relaxing vacation directly on the water . We enjoyed kayaking , fishing , swimming, paddle boarding and having fires at night . The hosts are wonderful and supply pretty much everything you would need ! We almost brought our big lobster steamer pot but we didnt have room for it but thankfully they had one in the shed and we had lobsters and steamers by the lake ! The house is well equipped, clean and lots of beds . Having no AC didn’t bother us at all we kept windows open and fans on and house stayed cool . Would definitely stay here again !

Great family getaway! Has everything you need plus a good selection of kitchen utensils. If you're coming with small kiddos, recommend bringing a folding gate to block off the stairs and stove.

We really enjoyed our trip. There is plenty of sleeping area and the finished basement is a relatively separate area. We had 4 but more would have fit comfortably if you are ok with 1 bathroom. (We left one bedroom with 2 full beds untouched) For me the best part was the stand up paddle boards /kayaks so we could get on the water and explore. We had one hot day and one sunny cool day, and didn’t find the house too hot. Other highlights were using the fire pit by the lake, playing a silly game of croquet over the tree roots making it more like mini golf. There is propane for the grill and chopped wood supplied for fires. We found a place for a short hike 11 minutes away.

All in all it was a very nice relaxing place on the lake.It was very clean The water was nice and clear.It definitely does get hot in the house without air conditioning but the basement stayed nice and cool.The contact person for any questions was very fast responding.I would definitely recommend it to anyone and would definitely go back there again.Was decent fishing from the dock or out in kayak

The rental was fantastic! Everything we could have needed was available, the process was simple and the stay was great! We had one beautiful sunny day and one hunker down rainy day and they both were filled with fun, laughter and relaxation! Looking forward to booking again!

We booked this cabin for a relaxing baby moon by the water. The property was great, there’s a huge backyard and it’s easy to get in/put of the water using the dock. The community is quiet which made relaxing easy.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay on Lake Arrowhead. The house was everything we hoped for...great location, quiet street, clean, comfortable, spacious, beautiful deck, and amazing waterfront. With the ping-pong table in the basement we were entertained rain or shine. We would love to return in the summer and take advantage of the wonderful selection of boats.

The lakeside home is a great retreat spot. Very quiet, homes on either side but you are not bothered by noise at all. The kayaks and paddleboards are there for use and we used daily. They are a great addition that allows you to get out onto the quiet lake and enjoy the sunshine. The adirondack chairs on the porch are perfect for sitting out with morning coffee and listening to the loons. We would suggest a window AC in the upstairs bedroom for the hotter months. We stayed in late July. The main level was fine with the ample fans provided. The lower level didn't even need fans as the basemen was very cool. The upstairs could reach uncomfortable levels even with fans and we often had people wake up and move to the couch to sleep the rest of the night. We did have a mix up (our end) upon departing and thought we were staying until Sunday. Cleaners showed up just before 10 and text me at 1005 we needed to be out. I reviewed the listing and we scrambled. We were able to be out by 1038 with all dishes done, all bed stripped, and everything put back in its normal place. It was hectic ending to an otherwise great getaway. We would stay again.

Nice cabin with great views. Quiet and secluded

My friends and I had an amazing time at the property! The house was well-maintained and clean and the location was perfect! We will be re-booking!
