Set in the heart of historic Dochfour Gardens this 3 bedroom former gardener’s cottage has been reimagined to provide a luxury holiday haven with gorgeous views directly onto the loch and gardens.

Entering through the arboretum you will then be directed to the cottage with its own enclosed space. Guests not only have their own private garden but also access to the arboretum. A world with in a world surrounded by wonderful views and wildlife, yet only 10 minutes from the amenities of Inverness.

The cottage has its own secluded garden with hot tub. A soft seating and outside dining area is complemented by a fire pit /BBQ providing an idyllic oasis where you can relax outside after a day exploring the many local attractions.

As the house and garden is set in the middle of a much larger private garden you will have full access to your own private fenced area and also access to the arboretum but we kindly ask that you do not venture into the owners private gardens and stay within the boundaries indicated. Because of its sensitive location we can also not accept any pets and would say it is not ideally suited to small children (other than by special request).

Your accommodation

The stylish sitting room provides the perfect place to relax and has a wood burning stove, internet TV with Netflix and Amazon Prime apps etc. Games and books are available in the entry hall where there is also a separate working area with a desk.

The large open plan kitchen/ diner is fully equipped with fridge freezer, dishwasher, electric oven, hob and many additional amenities. There is an adjoining utility room with washer, dryer and extra storage.

Three super comfortable bedrooms and 2 Bathrooms
One King size bedroom downstairs with views on to the garden has an adjoining shower room
While upstairs you will find a king size bedroom with views onto the lavender and walled garden and
a twin room with two beds with views over the loch.
There is also a family bathroom on this floor.

All linen and bedding is high quality Egyptian cotton from Tielle Loves Luxury as recommended by House and Garden Magazine and Country Life and is also used by many 5* hotels. The bedding is hypoallergenic

By request we can also provide a cot and a high chair.

All soaps and shampoos are organic and sourced from the Highland Soap Company.

I have supplied a comprehensive house manual in which you will find suggestions for day trips, visitor attractions, shops, restaurants etc as well as emergency numbers that you might need during your stay.
