Luxury Beach Cottage on Park w/ Porch Swing & Access to Great Amenities

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We really enjoyed our stay at this house. House was nicely furnished and kitchen had all that you need. We loved hanging out on the several porches. The house had all that you could want for a great trip. We loved that we could bring our dogs. One recommendation would be to provide an outdoor hose at the house to get the sand off dogs, beach toys, etc. I would say a golf cart rental is a must at this property because it’s at the back of the property. I would rent this place again.

The space was roomy and comfortable, perfect for both relaxing and working remotely. The internet was fast and reliable, making remote work a breeze. The kitchen had everything we needed and more, and the home was spotless and well-maintained. We truly enjoyed our stay and can’t wait to return!

We used the community fire pit one night (right behind the cottage). Cottage is only a few hundred feet from most amenities. Only complaint would be the golf cart storage in front of the unit and the construction mess around the corner. However, the unit itself was very clean and comfortable. Great time of the year to be at the beach!

House was great, right at the entrance of cinnamon shore. Easy access to the beach. One thing that we did not like is the house had no blinds/ thing hole like curtains, so in certain bathrooms and main living area, your neighbors and roads can definitely see inside the house.

Reviewer Comments: Unfortunately this will be our last time staying at Cinnamon Shore. The entire community is showing its age and doesn't seem kept up too well for the price you are paying. The people are friendly but the houses are aging and not in a good way. Our house had rusted exterior lights dangling by wires which blew constantly in the wind. Additionally we had a faulty smoke detector that went off randomly. Lastly our microwave didn't work, which is very unfortunate when you are on vacation. The house was in a terrible location next to construction on 2 sides and with the entire golf cart operating just behind. This house really seems like it could have been anywhere other than the beach. I would never recommend this to anyone, and I'm just upset we didn't get on a plane and go elsewhere for Memorial Day. We easily could have for the amount we spent.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Overall, this house was great and served our needs, I would stay here again. I noticed a few things that I feel could use some attention. For example, the outdoor light fixtures on the back patio are so worn down that one of them is literally hanging by the wires, and every time the wind blows it hits the wall and makes a noise you can hear inside. The downstairs master bathroom has a sink that needs drano. Within 8 seconds of the sink being on it’s completely clogged with water. Overall though, it was a great house, kitchen had plenty of tools and utensils to use.

Great location with the grass yard off the backside of the home and walking distance to the town center and coffee shop. Quick golf cart ride to the beach! We could hear the live music playing at the town center off our balcony patio from 7-8:30p, which was nice! Bring your own beach towels, as the home did not supply these. We did not have any laundry detergent on site, so we weren't able to use the washer/dryer. Other than that, the house was fully equipped with what we needed!
