This house is bigger inside than it appears at first sight. We instantly felt cozy and right at home as we walked through the front door. Kitchen was well equipped and had everything we needed. A big shout out to the housekeeping staff this house was SPOTLESS!!! We so appreciated it thank you!!. The only draw back was, there was so much cardboard and yard waste (too much to clean out) in the fire pit we were afraid to have a bonfire, because of the low tree branches right above it. Thank you Sam for a great getaway.
This was a very clean property. One could see that there was a lot of good upkeep. The beach was fairly rocky but the paddle boats were fun and the deep water had sand. The lake was actually warm!
A large group of us visit the area for the July 4th holiday. This was our first time using Vrbo instead of our camper and it was a positive experience. Sam, the property manager, was awesome. He responded quickly to any of our needs and was very friendly. The kitchen was spacious so we cooked most of our meals at the cottage. We look forward to visiting again.
We go on annual couples trip. House with a semi-private beach. You do share it with another couple houses on the property. Bring water shoes as the rocks in the water are big and hard to walk on when getting in. Perfect for us as we sat outside most of the day playing cards grilling or or in the water. Property manager Sam is very kind and helpful.
Great cottage all of us had fun would book again
Beautiful property, steps away from their private beach. No complaints with the property. Our only issue were biting flies on the beach. But that was everywhere.
This cottage was perfectly located for us, with direct views of Lake Huron beyond a lawn that was great for playing and for campfires. There is a large home and one other cottage closer to the water and these were also rented while we were there but I found that everyone was happy to share the beach, kayaks, etc. If you're looking for total privacy this one might not be for you, but if you're willing to be even a bit sociable it's great. Sam, the property manager, was knowledgeable and friendly and great to work with. The cottage itself was comfortable. Laundry and fridge were awesome.
We rented the cottage for our family of 5 ( 3 being young adults). Cottage was clean with plenty of amenities. Sam was great and easy to get a hold of and offered suggestions on the areas activities and places to eat. The complex does have other rentals so sharing is a must. The private beach is not a very big area and kayaks are limited in number. Having said that all renting were very friendly, helpful and willing to share. The only downside was the smell of the water in the cottage but we came right after the area had storms. The water was filtered but still contained a smell. Lake Huron is a beautiful lake! Definitely visit Port Huron to see Canada!
The beach is beautiful and there is lots of room to roam. The house was clean, the kitchen was well-stocked, we were comfortable and enjoyed our stay.
Excellent from start to finish
