The homeowners were kind and communicative and provided tons of helpful information about the area. We would return in a heartbeat for that incredible view! Stayed Jul 19, 2025This is a small piece of heaven on the water. The cabin has pretty much everything you might need. It is spacious with a big eat in kitchen. 10 of us gathererd around that table as my family were in nearby cabins. The livingroom has a fireplace, TV, and game table with lots of games in the cabinet. The access to the private beach made this a fabulous place to stay. The dock is a bit difficult to get the Kayak up and down, but the town dock is just down the road, has parking and a ramp. We left ours there, and it was great. We rented from the Acrivities shop in Blue Hill and they dropped it off at the town dock and picked it up there. It is a an easier spot. We want to go back. We were sorry to leave. Only draw back is that the well water can not be used to drink. Not a big deal, we were able to get bottled water at Hannerfords. But, it is truly a lovely spot and close to town and the road to MDI.
