Stayed May 15, 2025Very well equipped and comfortable cottage. Had everything we needed for our 3 week stay. Beautiful scenery on your doorstep with walks from your door. Anne and Ian were wonderful hosts and made us feel very welcome. We will definitely return.

Stayed Aug 1, 2024The owner are very kind and care for each need! The cottage is small but has everything you need for a stay. The pictures don't show the bathroom, that would have been nice, but it's okay! Newtonmore is definitely a place you need to visit in the highlands!

Stayed Aug 10, 2023Upon entering the accommodation, the smell of dog was very strong. The couch and chair had stains and were not clean, emitting a strong dog odor. In our opinion, the accommodation was quite dark. This is partially due to the fact that the two windows lead to two tall hedges within a meter of the windows themselves. There was only limited outdoor seating available. The bedroom was fine. We left for another accommodation after just one night. The owners responded very kindly to this and were also very polite. If dogs/pets are brought along on vacation, then this is a fine accommodation.

Stayed Jul 31, 2022Anne was the loveliest host. Great communication from the day we booked. Nothing was too much trouble. Really helpful. The property is very clean, has all you could possibly need. It’s very comfortable and feels like home from home when you arrive. Lovely warm welcome from Anne and Ian on arrival. Beautiful views, wonderful location and the best, most thorough property info book we have ever seen - with great suggestions for eating out, activities and walks locally. It was such a quiet, peaceful and wonderful break. Lovely to find somewhere that is dog friendly too! We’ll be back! Dawn, John, Robert and Callie the dog!
