Stayed Jul 26, 2024Historic cottage 1 block from both the harbor and the shops and restaurants in town. Quiet street. Lots of history in the cottage. Loved the town of St. Michaels. Great area for bicycling.

Stayed Oct 17, 2021Property was quiet and historic. Convenient to the near by park and water views (water not visible from home). Much renovation has occurred over the years, so not sure of actual historical representation. Lots of work still needs to be done on the home.

Stayed Dec 26, 2025My family just stayed in this little historic cottage...It is a wonderful location and while I realize it is older this little cottage needs some love...beds were fine but the furniture is a bit tired and the shower as well as tub definitely needs repair as the shower rod is very rusty..the toilet also was very shaky and sounded like it needed to be tightened up. Just wanted to let you know so you could put a bit of attention to get it upgraded . Also the kitchen utensils such as small frying pan and other items needed to be replaced. With just a bit of attention this little cottage would be fabulous. Overall we loved St.Michaels and hope to be back!

Stayed Oct 24, 2025Bed uncomfortable, shower and tub needs repair. Lamp in living room bulb is hanging. Some burnt out bulbs. Outdoor steps need to be replaced. Could use more lighting at night. I realize this a historic property BUT needs upkeep.

Stayed Jul 28, 2025Very disappointed no fans in twin room main bathroom run down shower curtain ripped rod beyond tape around tubs towels smell. Need fresh pain and cleaning especially closets. Grill unusable rusty needs new umbrella. Dining room chairs broken. Living room very uncomfortable to accommodate a group. House has such potential needs face lift because location is great. Reviews were deceiving plus need exterminator ants everywhere.

Stayed Jun 19, 2025We had a wonderful stay. This was our second time staying here and we loved it. Very quay, cozy and clean. Everything as advertised. Location is perfect as it is a very walkable town. This place is right in the middle. The owner was very friendly, open and communicative. And I had a big surprise when we returned. My neck pillow I had forgotten and left it 2 years ago was still there sitting in a closet. We hope to return next year.

Stayed May 23, 2025The listing is right in that the house is in a great location. You can walk/bike to pretty much anywhere you want to go from the house. The historic features of the house are also very cool. It is basically two cottages put together with a galley kitchen connecting them. The property however needs some love. There was a lot of marked up and peeling paint around the house that could easily be touched up to make it look cleaner. There were outlets in the house that were not working like in the kitchen near the microwave (meaning if you want to use the microwave you had to move it). There were also ants in the kitchen, but that happens this time of year and should be expected in an older home. The one full bath could have also used some love, the shower curtain bar is badly rusted and there’s loads of water proofing tape covering who knows what. Overall the bathroom could have felt cleaner. In the downstairs bathroom only one of the knobs for water works. Not a big deal, but something that should be addressed. The sheets were very worn and thin and mismatched. The pillows were completely flat (bring your own if this would bother you). The towels while I’m guessing were clean were also all different and not in the best condition. The heat also didn’t work at all for our stay so we were very cold at night.Lastly, there is NO pool as stated in the listing and I could not contact the owner at all through the app to ask about it.Overall a premium price for a just ok house.

Stayed Feb 14, 2025This was a cute historic house very close to all shops and restaurants. Location could not be better. It could use a thorough cleaning and the shower is pretty rustic. But overall a good place to stay.

Stayed Nov 8, 2024This was a quick getaway for my husband, me, and our 2-year-old grandson. The location of this property is perfect! We could walk over to the waterfront and watch the geese or walk into town for shopping and food. We lost power (a fluke) during our stay, and the owner was extremely responsive and easy to contact. We walked to dinner, and it was back on when we returned. Highly recommend!

Stayed Sep 19, 2024Waters edge is just a few steps away to sit and watch boats come in and out. So cute and the most amazing artifacts decorating the place made it even more captivating. Short walk to coffee, food and shopping local. The owner was responsive and kind as well as super easy to work with. Will definitely return.

Stayed Sep 15, 2024We love escaping to St Michaels for a change of scenery. These historic properties are great places to disconnect from our normal fast paced lifestyle. We always enjoy that our dogs are able to enjoy our stay. It’s a vacation for them as well. The town is very dog friendly in general. The properties are historic and have their quirks. For us, this adds to the experience and charm of St Michaels. The centralized location is key.
