Little Brook Cottage Mount Desert Island “Pet Friendly”

It had everything you could possibly need. Well stocked. So clean the odor of chemicals still lingered. Very happy with the experience.

Very cute cozy cottage. Just big enough for my husband and I. Great fire pit outside and close to area site-seeing. Only recommendation is a different seating area inside.

We loved the kitchen! This host/hostess thought of everything! We made some of our meals in the cottage and realized we overpacked! They had a can opener, lighter, lysol, cooking pots, sponges, - everything! Their cleaning service wasn’t great. There was blood on our comforter, black hairs on the extra blankets, and white smears on the decorative throw pillows. The location was quite nice - near an outdoor ice cream and lobster place. The cabin felt quite private. This place is wonderful - just needs a different cleaning crew for the bedding. The kitchen was spotless. The bathroom very clean and tidy.

Beautiful quaint cottage perfectly situated to give you peace and quiet but minutes from the activity. It’s the perfect place for time away to recharge and enjoy yourself. The host was amazing with suggestions on activities and has the cabin beautifully set up. We will definitely come back

The place was awesome! It had everything we needed. Grill, fire pit, bug spray, plenty of towels, nice flat TV and more. I was pleasantly surprised by the amenties included. The owner of the unit was very nice as was their caretaker. Location of the unit was excellent. Only 20 minutes drive to bar harbor or Arcadia national park. The Gas station was 2 mins away, along with a market. At night, it was peaceful. I would definitely comeback again and rent this unit.

The cottage is beautiful and packs just about everything you could want in a small space. Perfect for ONE person, two if you dont mind very close quarters. It was very quiet and private, with deer visiting in the afternoon.

It was a great location, beautifully decorated cottage. The stargazing experience was wonderful which we would have enjoyed more if we were allowed to have a fire. There are great cafes and trails nearby. I would recommend this place. Only feedback is on two things, communication. We didn't hear back on initial messages at all but were able to get in touch as we were leaving the town. Second would be to provide coffee filters and unexpired coffee. It's a small touch that provides such a great experience.

We had a fantastic stay at this cabin. It's the perfect size for two people and offers a peaceful escape on the quieter side of the island. The location was ideal, with easy access to the main park visitor center/Cadillac Mountain ( 30 min drive) and several great area hiking trails. We also enjoyed the wonderful restaurants and shopping nearby. The cabin was clean, and we appreciated that the kitchen and cabin was already stocked with essentials. The Wi-Fi worked perfectly, too. Contact with host was a bit delayed but did answer our questions. Thank you for a great stay!

Small, cozy, had everything we needed. Very quiet with lovely grounds. Hostess lived on the property and was quick to answer questions and remedy a minor issue that came up. Modern bathroom and fully stocked kitchen made this tiny cottage feel like home

We enjoyed our stay in this quaint, cozy cottage in a sleepy town close to several Acadia trailheads. Our host was easy to communicate with and ensured our stay was comfortable.

I loved this location away from all of the busyness of Bar Harbor. The cottage had everything I needed for cooking there, and after a few nights on the road with questionable showers, the heat and pressure of the shower were amazing!

Robin was very accommodating. The little cottage is small but in a prime spot and highly recommend it. It was perfect for my husband and I.

Tucked Away on the Quiet Area of the Island Easy Access to Everything Well stocked cottage

This was this cutest little homey cottage. It was very clean, had everything we needed and nicely decorated. It was perfectly sized for two people. We had the best stay!

Property owner was not present at check in. I messaged him for arrival and entry instructions and only received address and was told there was a lock box on the door. Upon arrival, we eventually discovered the door was unlocked with a lock box on the handle. Less than 5 feet from our bed was a dehumidifier that had instructions to empty when full…VERY LOUD. We didn’t bring in our luggage as everything smelled like a damp basement. There was a binder on the table with a list of instructions. If you don’t follow the instructions on the remote for heat/air, you will be charged $100 for a repair person to come out to fix. Also, for EVERY 15 minutes beyond your 10am check out time, you will be charged $50. Rules posted everywhere…kitchen, bathroom,etc. We left at 7:30 am. This was not the place for us!

We weren't in the cottage much since we were out and about enjoying the area, but it was a perfect fit for us.

This cozy cottage was perfect for our two night stay. It was close to everything on the island. Very clean and well stocked for coffee and tea. We would stay here again. Great communication with the host.

Great cozy property close to Acadia and bar harbor. Robin is a fantastic host - made check in and check out super easy. Absolutely recommend!

Great little spot in Bass Harbor. Very cozy and easy to get to Acadia National Park. Tight space if more than 2 people.
