Large 6 bedroom luxury holiday home in the Cotswolds with a hot tub - Folly View

What an amazing setting for this property, secure, secluded but with amazing views and walks surrounding it!

The accommodation was exceptional. The decor and facilities were brilliant, and occupied the whole family (4-83 year olds!). Having a bathroom for every bedroom was an added bonus. The younger guests enjoyed the table tennis, football table and the area to play football on. In the evenings we found the tv had games available and they were a hit with everyone!The kitchen/dining area was nice and spacious. We could all still be invluded regardless of if you were cooking/clearing up/sitting down at the table. The only criticism was we were short of a chair to place round the table. We made do by using the bench, but it would have been nice to all be able to sit on the same chairs. The hosts were very quick at responding to any queries. All in all a most enjoyable break. We’re already talking about coming back!

Excellent accomodation for a big group gathering, the only drawback was too few crockery, cutlery, chopping knives and teatowels etc

If you’re a large party looking for a house in the Cotswolds, this is ideal. The property has access across the fields to the river for paddleboarding. There is a sauna on site and a hot tub on the patio.

There is a definite wow factor when first entering Folly View . Before you is a huge kitchen diner , the kitchen equipped with 3 ovens and 2 dishwashers , a massive dining table making mealtimes a real social affair and a comfy sofa and armchair at one end . Although there is an equally large lounge across the hallway , we lived in this area! The six bedrooms each with bathroom make family living easy and outdoors there is also plenty of seating with a wonderful green space all around , very tranquil , interrupted only by an occasional tractor ! Most mornings we had breakfast outside ! Minimal niggles were that some kitchen things had not been put back clean by previous occupants , in particular the baking trays were very greasy , also crockery was not properly washed in the dishwasher as the rinse aid and salt had not been topped up but this was speedily rectified by our friendly and efficient manager , Caroline , who was always on hand to help . During our stay we rented electric bikes , had a boat trip on the Thames , paddle boarded down to the pub at Radcot and embarked on several activities at Cotswold Lakes besides making use of the hot tub and new sauna . All in all, it was hard to shut the door at the end of our stay !

Lovely sized and well apppointed accomodation. Good location for us and nice and quiet. Kids enjoyed the garden and football pitch, and RAF flights over! Didnt get a chance to use the Sauna or other facilites but they looked great. Hot tub went down well and outdoor heater was very useful. Cold water dispenser not working but we got round that.

We had an excellent weekend stay at Folly View with 12 adults and 2 children. The accommodation was perfect for our group, with plenty of space for everyone. The upstairs play area was ideal for the oldest child, and the grounds provided a safe haven for both the children and our dog. The hot tub was well used, and we loved exploring the beautiful grounds, which also offered great walks. The sauna was a welcome treat, and we even took the paddle boards out for a jaunt on the river. We were joined by friends staying in other properties on the estate, and it was a real highlight to come together to watch or play cricket in the grounds. Folly View truly had everything we needed for a memorable, relaxing, and fun-filled weekend.

A Fantastic get away ! We as a family of 14 ,7 adults 7 children ages ranging from 1yr to 15 yrs Had the best time from paddle boarding to table tennis competitions and cricket matches . It suited all are needs everything you would need . House was well equipped and lovely interior. Would highly recommend a stay .

The house is a fabulous place to stay. We were a group of 11, gathering to wave off a dear friend to America. There was so much space to accommodate us all comfortably, which is often a rarity. The grounds are ideal to chill in or large enough to arrange outdoor games on. We did both. Although we only used the hot tub, there was plenty of other activities provided. Caroline and Alisha were our point of contacts and they truly offer exceptional customer service. Would definitely recommend Folly View to anyone.

Folly View was the perfect place for a large family get-together. The property is in an amazing location with all of the cotswold sights within an easy drive. The house is very well equipped and tastefully decorated. The outside space is amazing and was very well used by us as we had beautiful weather. I have already recommended it to frends.

Perfect for a family reunion. Space to chill in an environment with things to do if needed but the river, table footy, ping ping, hot tub and garden were more than enough. Thank you Camden Farms.

What an amazing place to stay,The accommodation worked really well for our family of 8 adults and 7 children. Great welcome pack was much appreciated. The location is beautiful and the opportunity for paddle boarding on the river went down well, as all the other outdoor space

I'm not sure there is much more to say. For us it was the perfect house in a beautiful surrounding and an amazing and friendly host. Loved the wood fired hot tub and the extra extra long foosball table!!

Everything suited us fine, a very well set up property & comfy beds. Keep an eye on the hot tub temperature.

Would highly recommend for a group - great space in a great location! Plenty of rooms and bathrooms with added bonus of a hot tub!

Excellent welcome pack, if I hadn’t taken the essentials I would not have had,to worry, everything we would need was at the house. Excellent service.The house is beautifully equipped and very comfortable.

Folly view was the perfect house for my party of 10, the bedrooms were lovely clean and warm with beautiful decor. The welcome package was a lovely surprise. The kitchen was very well stocked with crockery and cutlery, pots and pans etc. Would definitely recommend this company and accommodation and looking to book another weekend away at Folly View in the summer .

Comfortable large house on the edge of the Cotswolds and near the Thames Path. Burford and Oxford 25 minutes away. Excellent large kitchen/diner which we spent most of our time in. Comfortable beds except for the twin room where beds were a bit soft and headroom tight (slanting roof). Good to have bedrooms on the ground floor although 3 bedrooms have no view ie look onto a garage wall/car port so they are quite dark. Bathrooms all good. Lounge is just about big enough for 12 - seating more comfortable for 10. Lovely views onto big garden. Furnishings are modern and stylish. There were one or two small niggles during our stay which were dealt with promptly.

We had 15 members of the family to stay, 8 adults, 5 toddlers and 2 babies. The facilities for each age group were first class. Each bedroom had a dedicated bathroom, the children had a play room and the beds were configured to keep them all happy. Cots and high chairs were supplied as were steps for toddlers to wash their hands. The welcome pack was first class and included enough Halloween biscuits for the kids. I viewed this as a sign that the owners cared about their clients as individuals. The kitchen was well equipped with two dishwashers to keep a good supply of clean mugs. Two fridges and a freezer. We hired in a chef for one meal and he was very complementary abut the equipment available. The property was a little warm on arrival better than being too cold, easy to remedy. There was plenty of space for 15 people to be comfortable, so long as you didn't get mown down by hurtling children. The secure garden was also a boon. We highly recommend this property to anyone with a large group to accommodate. Some additional lit signage from the road would have been very helpful especially if you are arriving in the dark.

Overall lovely, clean and comfortable. Some comments though A) Need additional signpost in the lane to get to the property B) the hottub was difficult to operate to get the correct temperature at the time we wanted to use it. An initial set up of the correct amount of wood in the stove would help as would more guidance of how long to leave and how much wood needed before water is at a comfortable temperature C) a couple of the showers were too hot to wash hair in , thermostat couldn't cool water down enough

We really enjoyed our stay at Folly View, everything was very clean and well equipped. The beds could be a little bit comfier but that was a minor issue and the drains at the front of the house need to be cleared as when it rained the drive was full of puddles but all minor! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and communication was great with the team!
