Very nice cozy little cabin. Definitely worth the money

Very beautiful tranquil spot. My hisband was disappointed with the lake condition. He was unable to fish because the algae was thick. Overall the property was beautiful, relaxing, and a great experience. Dawson Spring residence were most friendly. Hometown of Mr. Breshear.

This was a nice little cabin. The host was wonderful to communicate with. I was a little disappointed because it wasn’t as secluded as I thought based on the description or pictures. There were 3 houses reallyclose together and traffic due to being a watershed lake boat drop off.

Very peaceful and relaxing

Inside Home: Very roomy, kitchen was fully stocked with any dish you could need, bed was very comfortable, shower was hot and nice, couch was comfy and no issues with WiFi.Outside Home: the lake was amazing, plenty of fish to catch, kayaks available to take on the lake, front porch for sitting in the morning, side deck for relaxing in the evening. Did not have a chance to enjoy the fire pit or hammock due to the rain conditions, but it looked really nice as well. Hosts: very easy to get along with and personable, helpful with anything we would need. Overall: We will definitely be returning to this location as it is only an hour from home and a perfect getaway tucked into the woods by a private lake. Just what we needed to relax and enjoy our 16 year wedding anniversary!

Kitchen was well equipped and ameneties were all easily accessible. It was super cozy and had plenty of space!

If cabins could hug you, this one would. Clean, cozy, and absolutely adorable with tons of personality. It felt like stepping into a little Kentucky storybook. Huge bonus: it’s dog friendly, and our pup immediately claimed it as her vacation home. We loved every minute here and would come back in a heartbeat.

We had an amazing winter weekend at this property! The host was incredible — they checked in a few days before arrival to update us on road conditions after the winter storm and made sure we could safely get to the cabin. When we arrived, the heat was already on, which was such a thoughtful touch and very appreciated!The cabin itself was quaint, cozy, and absolutely beautiful, and it was perfect for my husband and me (and our two fur babies). We loved walking on the frozen lake and playing in the beautiful snow. We were in town for a wedding, and the host was kind enough to accommodate a last-minute late checkout so we could relax and enjoy the space a little longer before heading home.I truly can’t say enough good things about this place. We can’t wait to come back and experience the lake again in warmer weather!

The cabin was clean and comfortable. The host was really accommodating and let me check in early. The cabin is cozy and has everything you need. Directions and communication were great. It was even decorated for Christmas!

BOOK THIS PROPERTY! Such an incredible stay!It was peaceful, private, and cozy!Reminded me of staying with my grandparents when I was younger. It has all the cooking supplies and quilts you would ever need. The cast iron cook set and all in one vintage kitchenette drove it home for me. This cabin sits with a beautiful sunset and sunrise view over the lake. It has the perfect mix of off grid and modern convenience. You have the option to unplug and unwind with so many board games and books to choose from, or to stay connected with good WiFi and watch Netflix.Worth every penny plus some! We are 3 disabled veterans traveling with our service animals. The cabin was pet friendly, host were kind and accommodating. We will remember this trip for a lifetime and will be booking again! 10/10!!!!

Perfect cozy cabin to stay at during our wedding weekend at Burdoc farms! Instructions from host were clear, the space was perfectly accommodating, and the scenery was gorgeous and private. We loved it!

Nice and clean, quite. The only negative is the recliners do not work very good hard to get foot rest out and harder to put back down.

Great stay as always. Awesome place to relax.

Great getaway by the lake!!

What a cute little cabin! There is a small loft in the living room area where my 3 1/2 year-old granddaughter spent a lot of time with her toys and iPad. She loved it up there.The kitchen had everything we needed with a cut out where we could talk to each other from the front room to the kitchen.Loved how the kitchen door went right out to a deck with plenty of seating and a table. The front porch was perfect for morning, coffees, and afternoon wine. The view was beautiful, and the baby played in the leaves and the hammock! Our hosts were terrific! Check-in was so easy and the cabin was clean and ready. We loved it and my daughter and I plan to go back again!

The pet friendly cabin is small but very comfortable and equipped with everything we needed. Everything was in working order. Although the air conditioner worked well it was a bit annoying at night as it was loud and would shut off when reaching the desired temperature and then come back on loudly which jolted us awake throughout the night. There’s a cute loft, which could sleep a child. The deck is spacious with a nice view of the lake. The host was ever accommodating. It’s a very peaceful and quiet setting. We would return.

We had an enjoyable stay and the host was friendly and responsive. We saw many deer and a bald eagle during our stay. The cabin sits back away from the lake not on the shore and is partially blocked by a new home being built just a couple of hundred feet away. This is a public lake where we saw numerous fisherman with their boats come all different times of the day. They had to use the same driveway as we and the other residents nearby used to launch their boats. Would have liked to seen additional pictures of the cabin and property before we booked as that would have made a difference in our decision to stay. I believe the limited pictures were intentional. The listing says the cabin is “No Smoking” however, the cigarette smoke smell was quite strong. We had to leave the doors open to help with the odor. With that said, my wife and I still had a good time, we just wish the cabin was listed accurately.

We stayed the night and was excellent. We will be back.

We absolutely loved staying here! The description is accurate, so I won't go into detail there. The cabin is in a fanatic location if you are looking to get away from it all. Very private, beautiful view of the lake. No one bothered us while we were there, which was exactly what we wanted. We will definitely come back!

Thank you so much! My husband and I shared a month of perfect peace and quiet, playing games on the deck as we watched the sun set over a beautiful lake, and taking strolls along its shore. We so appreciated our time alone together in such a serene setting.

This cottage was the perfect end of summer getaway. We loved the property and exploring the area. Our dogs especially loved the property! The sunrises over the lake were amazing. The small size was perfect for us!
