Stayed Aug 22, 2025Perfect retreat! Kayaked the lake and all the rivers that flow from it. Wildlife was amazing. Sat for hours on the porch overlooking the water. Place had everything I needed. So charming!

Stayed Aug 7, 2024My wife and I were looking for a quick get away, Keiths cottage was perfect. It had water access to the south bay where we were able to kayak and enjoy watch the bird activity. The home was super clean and had plenty of space to relax. It was a quick drive to the shops and restaurants in downtown Newport. Keith was quick to respond to any questions that we had. I would defiantly stay here again.

Stayed Aug 3, 2024My sisters and I rented this cabin while visiting family in Newport and Orleans. It was very comfortable for the four of us. We absolutely loved the screened porch. The cabin has everything you could need. The kitchen is well equipped with pots, pans, utensils, dishes, coffee pot, ect…. The only thing we couldn’t do was have a bonfire due to the Mosquitoes. The setting is definitely quite and relaxing.

Stayed Aug 13, 2022The cottage is rustic looking but has all of the essentials including a washer/dryer, fantastic shower, loads of hot water, comfortable beds, heat for those chilly Vermont mornings, and a great kitchen. The screened in porch is wonderful. The location is fantastic; so quiet at the end of a dead end but about 8 minutes from downtown and 15 minutes from Walmart. Keith, the owner, is an absolute pleasure. Immediate responses to our questions and wonderful to deal with. You will definitely enjoy the get away from it all vibe and the wildlife all around you! Have fun!
