We had a great time. Didn’t spend much time in the cabin as we had other plans for the weekend. The beach area by the lake is definitely a nice feature.

What a beautiful place! The water is literally just steps away! Super comfortable space. A throwback to simpler times! Michelle is super helpful and thorough. Highly recommend!

The cabin was wonderful, super clean. The area is beautiful and peaceful. The hosts, Michelle and Gary, are amazing! Great people and a great place to stay! We couldn't have asked for more.

Exceptional Lake Front Cottage! Arrival went smoothly, immaculately kept, felt comfortable just like home with a view! Michele’s organizational, detail oriented, and personable qualities makes you never want to leave. Being pet friendly our “Bama” went on his first boat ride, first sunny day at the beach, and was welcomed with genuine love.

We truly enjoyed our stay! It’s a beautiful lake! We fished, swam, used the paddle & row boats, and relaxed in this quiet space. Everything was as it’s listed. The days were hot & nights cool.

Lakeview was amazing. All comforts of home but no stress. Saw eagles /loons and lots of relaxing by water.

This was at least my 5th stay at this cottage and my favorite location. The water is spring fed and extremely clean. The cottage is quaint and very clean. Michelle and Gary are always there to provide assistance and have become like family. We were even able to rent a pontoon boat which is delivered right to the water.

The cabin is quaint and homey. Our teenage boys loved fishing all day from the dock and the row boats, and swimming from our own personal “beach area”. The water was clean and clear, and I enjoyed floating as well! The use of the boats, floaties, beach chairs and fishing poles was a great bonus! We loved seeing Loons, snapping turtles, crawfish and more. Beds were very comfy! We all enjoyed some much needed down time together!

This was our second time to the cabin. So clean and comfortable. Great place to enjoy with family and friends. Michelle and her husband are fantastic hosts who go the extra mile to make everything run smoothly. It is easy to see how much time and energy they put into making this a favorite vacation spot. Over the past year they upgraded all the beds with mattress toppers which made all the beds soooo comfortable. They also added lights to the dock that give the early evenings a cozy vibe. Michelle had given us great information last year on where to rent a pontoon boat. We had fantastic weather and we were able to get in tons of fishing. We will be back next year, you know what they say about the third time being a charm.

Had a wonderful, relaxing stay. House was clean, comfortable and cozy. Lake was beautiful. Went swimming and boating and enjoyed the fire pit at night. Property owners were amazing and had wonderful communication. Will definitely stay at this property again.

This little cottage right on the lake was so relaxing. Cottage was clean and cozy. Outside area by the lake had lots of great seating. Nice clear sandy area for swimming right in front of the cottage, great for kids. We saw lots of fish from the dock and while we used the paddle boat around the lake. Would definitely stay again and recommend to others!

What’s not to LOVE staying in a cottage with a beach and a clean lake right out your door?! We have made this our annual 4th of July home away from home place for the last two years and rented it next year, too! The cottage is nothing fancy, but oh so perfect for our family vacation. Clean and comfortable! The location is close enough to Harrison to enjoy restaurants, putt-putt, go carts and any going ons in town, yet, the privacy at the cottage is priceless! The guys love to play different golf courses and we gals love the UP NORTH COFFEE and shopping in Harrison and Clare. The owner, Michele, makes sure all needs are met and wants her guests to enjoy their time. I’ve read all of the reviews and can honestly state, we have never had issues with anything! Michele makes herself available for any questions or concerns and like I mentioned before, she wants her guests to enjoy! We certainly do! If I could give a six star review, I would! ******

This place was great! It's literally steps to the water and the lake was very clean and nice. The paddle boat was great and we really enjoyed the fire pit as well. Overall, it was a wonderful weekend. I will say here that I wish I had known before booking that we would need to provide all of our own linens, towels, soap and paper products including toilet paper. It wasn't a problem for us, but it just would have been helpful to know before booking. Michele was very gracious and even offered to take us on a boat ride. We would definitely stay again!

It was great. Michelle was awesome. Answered all my questions. Shes the best. The cottage was amazing. I could live there. I didnt want to leave. Everything was exactly as she discribed. No surprises. Other than it was even better in person. Definitely recommend. Very relaxing and fun for all ages. Absolutely loved it and michelle was the best host ever. She made sure we had the time of our life and supplied alot of what we would need to do so.

The property was clean and well stocked. Needed to bring our own linens. The dock was about 35 feet from the porch with a nice fire pit. The fishing was good and we caught a few master angler bluegills. Michele is a wonderful host. A great place to stay.

My husband and I stayed at this beautiful location. The view of the lake was great. It was a very quiet area to fish or sit by the water. The beach area is big enough for about 4 lounger chairs. There was a gas station, pizza and ice cream place less then a mile away. The pizza was good and had a ton of toppings. The cabin was very clean. When I say read the listing it's because you have to bring your own towels, wash cloths, sheets, pillowcases, toilet paper, trash bags, soap, dish soap, shampoo, conditioner, and paper towels, unless you're lucky and someone leaves some behind. The couch cushions had a board under them and the beds also felt like you were sleeping on a board. The shower had a bleach bottle inside it to keep the sewer smell from coming up from the drain, and it was best just to keep the bathroom door shut to keep the smell from coming into the cabin. (The host did say they were going to fix this) The host was very nice. When she calls you to tell you where you will find the keys and to tell you what all you have to bring, be prepared for a long conversation. She requested I call her when we left and let her know how our trip went. I opted out on calling since they stay next door and have a camera facing the back door of the cabin we stayed in. I just wish all these things were better explained in the listing. If I knew what all I had to bring I would have not rented it.

Had a great time while here. Cabin was comfy, and clean. Our host was very welcoming and helpful. Had all the comforts of home away from home. The lake was beautiful. Will definitely go back there next time we’re in the area.

The cabin was neat, clean and cozy and was well stocked with all the cooking utinsils we needed. Townline Lake is beautiful as are all the adjouning lakes that form the chain of lakes. We enjoyed nightly campfires and spectacular sunsets! We will be back!

I really enjoyed this cabin being able to have my pet with me was a plus. The view of the lake was great. The owners are really nice people, I enjoyed meeting them. I will definitely go back again.

This cottage is the definition of an up north vacation spot. The hosts are amazing and helped make sure we had an awesome stay. We loved using the paddle boat on the lake, swimming off the private little beach/dock, having a fire and just relaxing. We will be back for sure!

Beautiful peaceful lakefront cottage.. Gary and Michelle are attentive and considerate host. We heard the call of the loons and fished off the dock. There is a rowboat available but I’m too old for that
