Stayed Sep 27, 2025Cottage was clean and move in ready when we arrived. This wasn’t our first visit here. The beach was awesome (lake levels are down since our last visit so much more sand). Mother Nature gave us perfect weather. Since our visit was so late in the year getting up to enjoy the sunrise was easy. We have pictures from every morning. Location is perfect for activities in and around Marquette and is very close to where our friends live. We had an idyllic week

Stayed Aug 9, 2025The location is fantastic with being about 10 minutes away from downtown Marquette. Heather is super responsive. The view of Lake Superior is outstanding and being on the lake is great! I would highly recommend staying here.

Stayed Aug 2, 2025This is small and pretty rustic but basically fine. The beach could not be better-totally sandy and easy access. Also very close to town which was nice. It worked for 2 of us but 4 adults would be awkward as you have to pass through one bedroom to get to the other. If you brought kids that might not be an issue. Inside the house just expect a very small kitchen and keep the cooking simple. Also, the king size bed in the one bedroom is basically wall to wall but comfortable. The hosts were very responsive to communication. They live next door. No AC and it was unexpectedly HOT while we were up there. Lots of fans but still hot. We did enjoy our stay.

Stayed Jul 20, 2024The location is superb, minutes from town with a private white sand beach just steps away. Host Heather M. was gracious and helpful, accommodating our constantly changing flight schedule that resulted from the CrowdStrike computer debacle. The cabin itself is small and very tight. For example, our kingsize bed filled the main bedroom from wall to wall. And one must pass through the second bedroom to get to the main bedroom. On a brighter note, the cabin provides an authentic U.P. camp experience, and there are a brand new washer and dryer in the basement.
