Lake Huron Front Cabin

The property was clean, and modern. No real issues. There were plenty of dishes, towels, even spices were in the drawer. The area was quiet, and convenient to the center of town. The owner was very considerate and communicated well. The town was wonderful, and the people were amazingly friendly. The area was peaceful and relaxing. The only draw back was the beach was farther from the house than expected, and was not as clean (from what appeared to be natural messiness from a storm). But overall, a very nice place. My partner and I are considering going there again next year.

The cottage was sitting a few yards from the beach of Lake Huron. Peaceful and so beautiful. We watched the sunset and the sunrise, there are no words to describe the beauty.

The host was very welcoming. He followed up to make sure we got in ok. This was our 2nd visit as we totally enjoyed the scenery and the peacefulness of our location.

Cabin was great. Very clean and comfortable. Nicely updated kitchen. Missed having a dishwasher. Loved the sunsets and sunrise view from the cabin. I couldn't get over how peaceful the area was.

We had an amazing stay. It was clean, cute and perfect for the two of us. It was supplied with everything we needed. Comfortable and cozy. We loved the location and the views of Lake Huron were incredible. I highly recommend this place when you are in the area.

The house was very cozy and clean, perfect for 2 people. It's not far from restaurants and beaches. We had bonfires every night. It was unfortunate we were unable to access the lake from this property as the lake was very low, but the view was still phenomenal.

The owner provided a lock box code, so that we could access the front door key. A ring door bell camera system is available to communicate with the owner, but we did not use it. Joe reached out to us several different times by phone and text to make sure that everything was going okay. The Lake Huron beach at the cottage is not a swimming beach, but offered many days of peaceful relaxation. The kitchen had everything we needed for our week long stay. The town of Harbor Beach is located within a 20 minute walk. Several nice and inexpensive restaurants with good food can be found within a 20 minute drive. We recommend Boondocks and Lewisville BBQ.

Perfect location for quiet. Great beach access and it was beautiful to have a bonfire on the beach, watch the fireflies and shooting stars. Cute and cozy cottage. Thanks Joe.

This little cabin was great for a relaxing weekend getaway. This place checked all our boxes and it was a perfect size for my husband and I. It was a bummer we couldn't walk out from the cabin and swim in the lake. That was something we were looking forward to the most. The beach wasn't too far down the road so it worked out. I'd recommend this place to any looking for a quiet getaway.

Excellent options for hiking, water activities, and restaurants locally or within 30 minute drive. Quiet area to rest and read with water access.

Great location. Trail to the water was a bit overgrown, but still very manageable. The house is adorable and SUPER clean. Kitchen is fully stocked with whatever you might need. New appliances and furniture. Would stay again.

Lake levels are down so can't really get to lake edge. House was clean and convenient to town.

We were looking for a quiet, peaceful place by the lake where we could get away for our anniversary and just rest and relax for a few days. It was exactly what we were looking for! The house was very clean and comfortable. The neighborhood was quiet. We loved being close to the lake. The owner, Joe, was very kind and helpful. We will definitely be back! :-)

The cottage was so cute! Updated interior. The cottage had everything we needed. Lakefront property with sunrise views and deer in the yard. We enjoyed walks. Short drive to town. Owner was available for anything we may have needed. We would definitely return!

This was a wonderful location in a quiet area. We loved the bonfire pit on the beach and the fact that it was private. We will be recommending it to others.

The house was very clean and checkin was easy. Nicely supplied. The water was very low at the Lake so could not get close. Beautiful view at the beach, not able to see the Lake view from house but it was a very short walk. Meet a deer on my way to see the sunrise, she just stood there and we were like that for a few seconds! Great pics of the sunrise and full moon over Lake Huron, which is why we choose the house. Cute place and had everything we needed!

We enjoyed our stay. The house seems newly renovated, clean and comfortable. The view was beautiful just as the pictures show with a nice little walk to the beach. Very scenic for an October getaway up north.

This is a beautiful and quiet property. It’s right on the lake and it has everything you need for a quiet getaway. We enjoyed the fire pit on the lake every evening. The price is very reasonable and totally worth it. The owner is great and was always available to answer questions.

Just as described, 2st time user washer/dryer combo ;-) cobwebs in most of the archways but assuming with the weather changes that may be hard to keep up on. Thank you!

The house that has been remodeled modernly. Very close to Lake Huron, though water is low right now. It was well-appointed, everything you needed was there. Owner was thoughtful, he checked in on us twice.

We loved sitting by the beach and taking in the views, and just relaxing.

I was looking for somewhere quiet and peaceful and I definitely found it here! Incredible property with quiet private beach. The only suggestion I have, is the walking path could use a grooming. Lots of overgrowth with picker bushes. Had a perfect time, I will definitely be back!
