Lake Hartwell cottage - Hot Tub! ~we have no lake water till it rains

Lovely and cozy lake house, neighbors were quiet and the hot tub was the best way to end our day. Had everything we could possibly need.

The location was great and the host was fabulous. Easy to communicate and made sure our stay was great.

Home was clean and had so many extras. We had a blast with all the games and hanging out in the hot tub. Will not miss the steep driveway though

The property was awesome! The hot tub was the best we've had, Michelle had lots of ideas for fun and games readily available, books, bikes, kayaks and fishing gear available…she was the best host!!

Very helpful. There was an internet issue when we got there and the host worked through the night to get it working. Very convenient and my wife and daughter loved the hot tub. We will rent again.

Our host was so kind and welcoming, quick to respond. The house was stocked with everything we needed and the hot tub was a special treat.

Great kitchen with a huge family table. It would be a great Thanksgiving house!!The hot tub was relaxing and beautiful overlooking the lake! The master was so cozy also with a great view overlooking the lake. The master bedroom was so comfortable!! Many fun things for young children and when my 18 year old walked in he said he loved the house. A huge compliment from a teen. The host was so generous. The coffe bar was also amazing!!!

This house was perfect for our family for the weekend, very comfortable and peaceful. The house had everything we needed and more, and hot was very thoughtful and communicative. We enjoyed kayaking on the lake and hiking in the area, would stay here again.

Great location for a quiet place to relax but still close enough to go and eat if you want to. Has comfortable sleeping areas and a nice hottub to relax in. Everything at the property functioned as it is suposed to with modern appliances. Had a great stay to say the least. Great host as well Michelle was very professional gave us all the information that was needed with out be overbearing thank you

Very nice property and communications with owner was top-notch, from answering questions before we reserved throughout the duration of our stay. We could not find the remote for the downstairs TV, so Michelle went out and bought a replacement and dropped it off while we were out! The only hiccup we had was wifi was spotty when it came to streaming, but all of our kids' devices probably contributed to that. Overall, we would definitely recommend this home and its wonderful owner.

Great location - excellent stay! This was a great base for moving our daughter into Clemson. Close to campus and was so nice to have hot tub and dock/lake right there. Clean and with so many conveniences - the host has thought of everything. Michelle was so responsive, nice, and accommodating - will definitely be back!

Fantastic lake cottage! Super cute, clean, easy to travel too. Wish we could of stayed longer to enjoy more time on the lake but we had a wonderful time! In addition, the hostess was super friendly and provided immediate responses to any questions. I would absolutely recommend and will be booking again!

Great and relaxing stay! It was so nice to reconnect with family through games, swimming and just hanging out.

The property was exactly as the pictures showed! We booked it for a three night getaway and we can’t wait to come back! Everything was very clean. He had lots of fun activities to do at the house and around the nearby area. We enjoyed the kayaks and the hot tub the most! The house had everything we needed for our stay. Can’t wait to bring the kids next time.!

Great cottage, nice and big, loved the kitchen and the hot tub. Hung out by the lake, so nice and peaceful. Lots of wildlife. Next time in South Carolina we would definitely stay here again!

Had a great time at the lake. House was very well equipped and in a great location. Take advantage of the kayaks and canoe. Kids had a great time swimming and fishing. Will definitely go back here. Owner was absolutely fantastic and very helpful. Answers any questions quickly and left great instructions for all the quirks of this unique property. Thanks for the memories!

We stayed here for our anniversary weekend and had such a great time. Fishing was good, kayaks were in perfect shape, a private dock, hammock, hot tub literally everything you need for a lake side vacation. The kitchen was fully stocked with spices and condiments, coffee and creamer, plenty of extra towels and blankets, toiletries, we had everything we needed. The house was clean and cozy, and Michelle was a perfect host. We will definitely be back!

Our stay was very good and the home was well stocked. A lot of the activities we wanted to do like canoeing and campfires were puthold because of bad weather

What a perfect place to fish Lake Hartwell. Host communicated very well and we had parking for two boats and trucks at the place. It was also very affordable. Highly recommended!

We really like the setting. Wished we had planned to stay a couple nights. Perfect distance for a overnight stay before Clemson game.

This home is well-loved and very cozy! The host made sure everything you might need was in the home and easy to find, including extra toilet paper and toiletries. Communication with her was amazing! Loved the huge dining table and countertop, comfy couch, and big bedrooms, but the hot tub was our favorite! The ‘wall of fun’ even excited my 23 year old! The living room area and second bath are downstairs so may not be ideal for disabled or elderly guests. The driveway is steep, but plenty of flat parking is provided at the top of the hill. Also, neighbors are close, as expected on the lake, but quiet and friendly. Would definitely rent again! Thanks much!

I cannot say enough about the kindness of Michelle. We made the trip right during the aftermath of Hurricane Helene for our daughters’ first Clemson experience, completely naive on our drive down from Raleigh of how badly the area was damaged. Halfway to the destination we found out the property did not have power. Michelle drove to the property herself to assess, blow off leaves and do what she could for our family. We ended up not using our first night there because of the power outage situation (we stopped in Charlotte and stayed with family because for a bit we weren’t sure if the game was still on or not), but did decide to use the house the second night since we were leaving late from the Clemson game and wouldn’t be able to find a hotel due to all the power outages or being fully booked. We were nervous at first, but so happy we decided to go to the home! She had lanterns waiting for us and despite not having power we thoroughly enjoyed the adventure of it all. Thank goodness for cool weather because we all ended sleeping well too! Without asking her to, she ended up refunding us a large portion of what we paid due to the unfortunate circumstance we were all dealing with. She was genuine and communicated so well with me, back and forth over two days. I was blown away by her kindness. We hope to be able to go back and enjoy her beautiful home again soon. It was so clean, organized and well taken care of. A perfect place for families!

Stay at this beautiful property that felt like home. Very clean and unique in its own right. Host was more then accommodating and very nice. Cant wait to come back and bring the rest of our family.

Nice home with lot's of space. Extra-large table for game nights and beds were very comfy. Hot tub was awesome!! This house has pretty much everything needed for a vacation. However, we took our boat, but water was drained from the lake at the time we were there, so looking out back was like a mud hole. House has a very large incline going down to house and it was hard parking our pontoon boat in front driveway and space for the boat. We enjoyed Lake Hartwell, but our favorite is Lake Jocassee. It is a beautiful lake. Spent two days there, it's about an hour away from house. We visited Helen GA for a day. (money pit, not all that great) A great place to eat if you like bbq and it's right around the corner, The Smok'n Pig. Great BBQ and great place to enjoy cornhole, puttputt, cold beer or just hang out outside.
