We had a relaxing stay on the lake at this adorable cottage in swanton. The property was very clean and nicely decorated. It had everything you might need—paper products, coffee maker and keurig pods, cookware, grill, 2 kayaks, 2 adult paddle boards, life jackets, floats, etc. We did day trips to Montreal and Burlington and some hikes in the area. It is a little tricky getting down to the water as the shore line is very rocky. The owner recommended bringing water shoes which I ordered before we left and were a lifesaver. Overall we had a great stay here!

This was our first lake vacation but it won’t be our last! The house is as cheerful, welcoming and well appointed as pictured. The hosts were easy to communicate with and left all the information we needed. The hammock, sundeck and Adirondack chairs were favorite spots throughout the week. We made day trips to Burlington and Montreal. We were treated to stunning sunsets each evening. It was a peaceful week and a nice change of pace from our typical ocean vacations.

We had a wonderful week at this adorable cottage on Lake Champlain. The home is updated and beautifully decorated and it’s clear the owners have put a lot of thought and effort into making it a great experience for their guests. All instructions and information were very clear and organized. Having access to kayaks and paddleboards was a huge plus. My son spent so much time fishing in a kayak and caught tons of huge fish. There is also a large hammock, corn hole, games, a solo stove, etc. They have thought of so many things that made it so comfortable and easy to stay here. The sunsets are also amazing and we planned our activities around them. I would highly recommend this home to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway on Lake Champlain.

Upon arrival the view of the lake is breathtaking then upon entering the cottage, you knew everything had its place. The cottage was clean, organized, beautifully yet minimally decorated where we felt at home in this space. We loved the access to the lake to fish, use the onsite items (kayaks/paddle boards) but our dog swam almost every day. The owners recommendations on places to eat and things to see were spot on-though must say the black flies at the wildlife refuge were awful. We highly recommend checking out devyn’s for homemade ‘creemees’ but make sure you have cash. The beds were comfortable, hammock was appreciated, bathroom/shower very nice, kitchen well equipped for cooking almost anything. Grill couldn’t be beat and the dog run was helpful.

Nestled on Lake Champlain in farm country, this lake house getaway was wonderful. The perfectly designed and well-appointed cottage was newly renovated and perfectly furnished. The hosts were gracious and thoughtful. Every amenity was considered and provided. The local town is very close, offering everything we need, from dinners to coffee and pastries. Local farm stands are everywhere, offering excellent fresh food. Burlington is a 45-minute easy drive away; We rode bikes around the lake house area and in Burlington. Bottom line: a great experience from superlative hosts. We highly recommend it.

Loved it. Very relaxing. Drank coffee by the lake and listened to the loons while I watched them dive. Many amenities are provided inside and out. Bath towels were on the luxurious side which you'd melt into. We had rain two days but found things to do. Their huge picture window made the rain hypnotic to watch. We highly recommend this place. P.s. if not from Vermont be sure to go to creemies and get a maple soft serve it won't disappoint.

Everything from the décor to the stunning view of the lake, the backyard, kayaks, dock,& fire pit, was well thought out and inviting, making it easy to relax and forget about home. We chose this lakefront place to celebrate what might be our last family vacation for a while, as our eldest just graduated and is moving out for her new job. We wanted relaxing quality time, and this was perfect for our family of four adults and our dog. We hiked in nearby reserves and spent a day in Montreal, enjoying Mount Royal, French treats, and the BioDome, before returning to the cottage for take-out dinner. Most days, we stayed at the cottage, enjoyed thrifting at a local store, and our dog loved the vacation too. I cooked almost every night with the well-stocked kitchen, though I'd recommend bringing your preferred spices. We used the fire pit for s’mores, and my husband fished off the dock daily, catching plenty of fish. We enjoyed takeout from Twiggs and Werner’s, suggestions in the hosts’ info book. The sunsets were a highlight every night, enjoyed with a glass of wine. Andrea and Mike, our hosts, were attentive, leaving a personalized gift for us and our dog, along with a handwritten note. A small issue on the first night was quickly resolved. The cottage is well supplied with towels, paper products, ect. As we left, my daughters and I sighed and said goodbye to the cottage, thanking it for one of our best family vacations. Mike and Andrea, for all the heart you put into the cottage
