Lake Champlain Great Camp - Rustic Luxury, Sunsets, Lawn, Beach, Amenities!

This lake house was perfect for all of us, very accommodating. Plenty of room, very comfortable, very clean. The ice cream truck even stopped by! 10/10 !

This was the perfect summer camp experience for adults! 8 first cousins from 6 states had the best time in this rustic but well appointed home. We were able to be together in community or break off into little reading or conversation nooks. Would highly recommend this home and host.

This was an absolutely phenomenal home for our family vacation on Lake Champlain. Burt and Marilee have truly thought of everything and gone out of their way to ensure a comfortable, fun stay. We loved being able to use the kayaks, paddle boards, floats, bikes and lawn games from the amazingly well stocked shed. There’s even a generous firewood supply for campfires and s’mores. The interior is beautifully decorated with an eclectic mix of furniture and antiques. The beds and linens are supremely comfortable. There are what feels like dozens of places to curl up and relax. The kitchen was the best equipped of any rental home I’ve ever experienced. The location is excellent, and the beach near the house is sandy and great for swimming and paddling. We wish we could have stayed longer!

We had an amazing stay! The location was perfect and it was such a cool house. There were so many amenities- stocked kitchen, grills, chairs, and the lake toys kept us busy. The decor in the house gave it charm and character. I can't say enough about this incredible property. I would stay here again in a heartbeat. We truly couldn’t have found a better place to unwind and make lasting memories with family. The Camp is a rustic gem—beautifully decorated, thoughtfully appointed, and surrounded by the calming sights and sounds of nature. From the moment we arrived, we felt at ease.We often find ourselves staying busy even on vacation, but something about this place made it effortless to slow down. It was the kind of stay that leaves you feeling refreshed and genuinely rejuvenated. We’re so grateful for the experience.

Barney Point is on point! This lovely camp home is well appointed, adorably decorated, has a fabulous yard and amazingly spectacular views! The home was very clean, the kitchen had every utensil/appliance/bakeware imaginable, even an electric hand mixer to make frosting for a birthday cake!! We had such a wonderful time hanging out on the lawn, the seating options allowed us enjoy meals together, play games, complete puzzles etc. The fire pit and provided firewood made for lovely evenings and added to the grand sunsets. Beds were super comfortable and plentiful. The house was in a great location for all we wanted to do and I was delighted and surprised by the causeway near by for my morning walks. We were 7 in total ranging from 12 to 74 years young.

A majestic peak VT weekend Walks on the causeway, fires, family meals… perfection Barney point is a special place and Burt was incredible- even leaving UVM soccer hats for our guests to join in the fun.

This charming cliffside getaway was the perfect place for our family/friend group. Every little detail was absolutely perfect: beautiful location, lots to do on and near property, wonderful amenities inside and out. We will return!

Our large family had a wonderful experience at The Camp! The house has everything and then some. The detail and functionality of the decor was a daily conversation topic during morning coffee and the kitchen does not lack anything...no, not even a zester. The yard is plenty big for outdoor activities and the shed, oh the shed. I believe I counted 10 bikes. SUP boards, kayaks, pfd's. The shed is chock-full of yard games and anything else you think you might need. We utilized the outdoor fireplace every night, making s'mores and admiring amazing sunsets. By far the best vrbo we've ever stayed at! Thanks to Marilee and Burt for letting us share your home.

This was the perfect place for friends to meet coming from different states. The house was beautiful and comfortable. The house has so much character and every detail has been included. We really enjoyed sitting in Adirondack chairs looking at the beautiful view of Lake Champlain. The hosts are attentive and respond to questions quickly and are accommodating. Glorious stay, loved the home and amenities!

Views of Lake are all around. Best stocked home we have stayed in. Kayaks, paddle boards, bikes, yard games were all top notch. Nearby Causeway Trail is amazing and easy for bike trips to downtown. Lovely place to stay.

This house is perfect for a family vacation. Ample outdoor space. Many places to relax and enjoy the view. Large enough for a big family. This place has everything you need and more!! Highly recommend!!

Probably the best family vacation stay we’ve ever had! Well stocked kitchen! Amazing views, wonderful places for everyone to hang out. Great coffee table for a big family puzzle when it rained. 5 min from grocery store, 3 min from pickleball courts, 3 min from the causeway. Very private and quiet. They had everything! Bikes are in great shape, paddle boards, kayaks, stunning yard. I’d give it 6 stars if I could. A family vacation with memories we will cherish forever!

Best family vacation house.

Where to begin! Professionally manicured yard with panoramic views of a scenic and historic stretch of Lake Champlain. A shed full of recreational equipment for the entire family: bicycles, kayaks, SUPs, lawn games... We LOVED the old time feel of the well-maintained camp building decorated with collectables, but with all the modern amenities (AC in all the bedrooms)! Multiple gathering options both indoors and outdoors. Lots of natural light, a well appointed kitchen, plenty of towels for the whole family. The property and owners had an overall welcoming feel.
