Recently renovated, this former 13th century building is situated at the end of the hamlet of Retournay, inhabited by the 2 owners. The gîte is situated on the border between the Vienne and Deux-Sèvres departments, in the centre of the 4 main regional attractions: the Futuroscope, the Chateaux de la Loire, the Marais Poitevin and the Puy du Fou.
A 1st category river, the Dive, crosses the property between the poplar trees. The villa at Licoches benefits from the charm of thelocation and the architecture of the small listed 16th century manor house. It is accessible from various urban centres: Poitiers-Paris by TGV (1h30). Poitiers is a 30-minute drive away, while La Rochelle and Nantes are 1.5 hours away.

What a great place to stay ! Perfect for us and our friends, we had two excellent weeks in the company of Hilaire and Genevieve at La Villa Des Licoches who made our stay very special. We wouldn't hesitate to stay again in future years.
