Koru Cottage - Pristine and newly renovated.

The Cottage had everything, it was clean, comfortable and had everything for being self contained. Loved it!!

This cozy little cottage ( called a “Bach” in NZ) is bigger on the inside than on the outside. Great space for a family, a fully equipped kitchen, and a library of both books and DVDs. Back deck with clothesline and hose perfect for rinsing off and drying water sports equipment. High efficiency washing machine installed. Just over the hill from Paihia, allowing you to avoid the traffic. Low noise neighborhood with minimal traffic and an easy walk to the beach. Can’t beat it.

Lovely comfortable cottage and near a beach, which is very shingly, only down side. So sorry we forgot to write a comment in the book but we were very pleased with the accommodation.

The cottacge was as we expected and had all they we needed to make our stay a success. Our Host was easy to contact and very helpful and friendly. We enjoyed having this cottage as our base for the 6 days.

Koru Cottage is truly awesome ! So tidy & everything is well thought of - the kitchen, toilet & bath, lounge/HRV, BBQ area, rear lawn. Added bonus is the quiet surroundings. Definitely my family & I highly recommend this property.

Fantastic stay in Paihia and the wee place we booked was perfect. Quiet location, clean and fully kitted with everything we needed. Easy walk into town for a coffee and cheese scone or the beach for a swim. Our host responded to any questions we had prior to arrival, during our stay and after, Marylin was very helpful. Even though we were on holiday I was provided a table and office chair for a Teams Board meeting, thank you much appreciated. We would stay there again, Jonathan & Deb.

The location of the unit is ideal for visiting attractions in the Bay of Islands. Its a lovely walk into town and the wharf, the beach is literally at the end of the street. The unit is well equipped and spacious to make your stay enjoyable, things like beach towels and pantry condiments were much appreciated. All the beds were comfortable, the sofa beds were surprisingly good. The communication with the onsite person was excellent and very helpful. We would love to stay here again

Great unit, roomie, has everything you could possibly need and more. A great location, just two or three minute drive to town.Our only concern was the loss of Internet connectivity halfway through our stay. It never did come back and eliminated the use of the television for anything other than DVDsof which there is a large selection provided.

We had a lovely stay at Marilyn’s well-equipped and cosy cottage. The location in a small community of baches on the edge of Paihia was convenient and wonderfully quiet (note we were there in the off-season) - though a car is recommended if you’re not big walkers and want to get to the main town. Marilyn was quick to respond to and solve minor queries. We loved our stay in Paihia and our breakfasts on your sunny deck. Thank you!
