We are returning customers in Dunoon, as we periodically work in the area. The accommodation is well equipped with all you need when you are away from home. Nice place to have a good rest and to explore the beautiful natural surroundings.

This is a charming cottage located just outside of Dunoon. The space may seem awkward but is ingeniously designed for good natural light and airflow. The garden is stunning and the conservatory is where I spent most of my time. The house was spotless upon arrival, though some of the dishes were not which is, of course, a reflection on previous occupants, not the owner/cleaner.

The cottage is ideally placed for anyone travelling to Dunoon on the Western Ferries. The garden is beautiful, not too manicured, and extends all around the cottage. The deck and outdoor seating area is a lovely place to sit and look at the birds - we saw a male crossbill one day. On showery days the conservatory is really spacious and gets very warm with even a little sun. That was the room where we spent most of our time when indoors. The lounge was cosy. There is a wood-burning stove, with plenty of logs and would have been our choice of place to sit in the winter. The kitchen was well equipped, nice clean bathroom, very comfy bed, although the bedroom is compact. We didn't meet the owners, although we spoke on the phone and the start and end of the holiday, but had no reason to contact them otherwise as everything in the cottage was in good working order.

A clean and welcoming cottage in a handy location for either the ferry or for exploring the area. A charming and welcoming hostess made our stay even better. And yes, there really are frequent visitors to the garden in the form of red squirrels and deer!

It was easy to get out and about from there. Lovely to see deer in the garden. The owner was friendly and helpful. The bed was comfortable, we slept well. The house had all you needed but the sitting room was a bit sparse and not well laid out for watching a small tv screen. The conservatory was relaxing. The Local Hero was a great place to eat and Morrisons was close by for any shopping. We really liked Benmore Gardens and our trip to Bute.

This was our 2nd time staying here this year. That should tell you that it's worth going back to. Excellent location, within walking distance to the Ferry Terminal. The cottage is great, the wife loves the kitchen and the Conservatory (all season sun room) is fantastic as well. The cottage was spotlessly clean and the updated bathroom and shower was very much appreciated. Communication with the owner was great, they were very responsive and pro-active to any questions we had. The only tiny wee downside is that the TV is very small. I'd expect a much bigger TV these days, but this is a very small niggle and I'd still give the cottage 5 stars easily. We will be back again, this is our go-to place when visiting this area each year.

As advertised. Took some getting used to with that radiant heat. Good access to walking thru town. Preferred the dryer came with the washer.
